Like the Iraq war and Afgan! Trillions lost, countless lives dead and disrupted, 9/11 happened because we got involved in the middle east! Thats one good example.

That makes sense because the wealthy create the jobs we need. That's why a year ago we had the lowest unemployment in over half a century. People were working, had money in the bank, and spent more money. That's, you know, how you have a booming economy. You don't get that by removing money from the wealthy or trying to force them to pay low-end workers $15/hr. That's how you lose jobs.

They aren't homeless or unemployed yes, but they aren't exactly LIVING, just surviving. If the money trickled UP for a change the top 1% wouldn't control over half of the nation's wealth and stocks.

$1,400 will still not be enough if a tenant is months behind in rent. That’s why the government has the eviction program. Plus, a new landlord will not take a tenant in if there is not a stream of income coming in. The pandemic is still here.

ALOT of this bill goes to foreign aid, to the arts, to the future because it some funds are set for like a year or so from now. The 1.9 should go to citizens but definitely to business owners to reopen and rebuild and get jobs back and grow the economy. Governors in many state have killed thousands of businesses and a loss of millions of jobs, that should be the focus! I'm gonna enjoy my lil 1400 but in real life this is stifling people, crippling our economy, killing businesses. The 300 is only going to keep people from working. We are dishing out money but what is going back into the economy? Sterling wise. Our family situations are pretty similar with covid. I’ve had it along with my wife and all of my in laws. Fortunately my grandma didn’t pass away. But she would’ve been in a bad way no matter which virus. You don’t shut down an entire country and put more people’s lives in danger than the actual virus does over a virus with a 98%~(pending on where you get info from) survival rate. The virus is here to stay. Do we just stay locked away forever now? Rates have drastically dropped since December, along with vaccine rollout, and the damage we’ve taken to the economy is far greater than if we open everything back up.

Livelihood hasn't been easy for the people ever since the pandemic and it really hurts to see children and families starve without a home. We all need help, i almost lost my house, i was just lucky and i'm grateful to the Relief Funding Program through them i received $10,000 last week. I pray everyone gets help.
What about those of us who've gotten money stolen from our EDD/BofA debit cards and got locked out of our accounts? There are millions of us who have been locked out of our accounts right this minute. It's pandemic assistance and we can't even file our unemployment claims! Do something about this. Now.
