truly this speech has moved me and restored some of my faith left in politicians I'd vote for Rubio in a heart beat. I hope Marco has a long and fruitful career in his future.
There is a hope displayed in Marco's speech that is inspiring. It is up to us in the next election to make wise choices if we will ourselves to once again be great and a leader for freedom in the world.
Hello Marco, I am also a hispanic who worked many years as an Electrical Engineering Tech in electric power distribution for a major utility in New York State and who has retired in the Central Florida area. I am delighted to see a hispanic rise to the post of Senator in our state. Congratulations on your accomplishment and may God guide you throughout your endeavors both inside and outside of government. This is just an incredibly patriotic speech. The fact the the son of two Cuban immigrants could be where he is is testament to the greatness of America. Marco clearly understands this. Marco's love for America comes through very clearly. I wish more elected officials could see America as Marco does.
At a time where nearly all politicians democrat or republican, speak with empty words and promises, I find hope in Senator Rubio's words. Unjaded by years, in an enviroment that ALWAYS takes its toll, he is an inspiration. I pray with all I have that he is guided by all that is good and that all good things come to him. A senator is not a leader but a representative of his polity. He comes from a strong background and his ideals are admirable, and I appreciate his passion. However, I'm not sure that I strictly agree with his ideas for policy.

I'd like to know how many senators were in their seats when this speech was delivered or whether the Senate was mostly empty. I, too, like Rubio's sentiments, but his politics are the same, tired Republican rhetoric about lowering taxes and cutting spending. That hasn't worked for the last 25 years, and it won't work now. Let's see Rubio propose specifics about how he sees we can achieve the goals he laid out at the beginning of his speech. We now know hiis heart is in the right place.
Great Speech Marco ! I voted for you but refused to campaign for you because I think your decision to IGNORE the other candidates in the Republican primary was a poor decision. Yes he was born in Florida, but his parents are immigrants from Cuba, legal immigrants that is. Which is another reason he'll eventually be an appealing candidate. By 2016 there will be a Republican incumbent running for VP, however.

You got your wish... Rubio was just speaking at a CFR meeting ahead of the Bilderberg conference. When unknown politicians meet with Bilderberg they ''win'' high level elections shortly there after. We saw it with Clinton and Obama not to mention numerous lesser staffing positions gov,sen,prime minister... A small group of unelected rich people run the world... you support their efforts.
