US Senator Charles Schumer, who is the Senate Majority Leader visited the village of Kiryas Joel on Sunday afternoon November 14, 2021 where he was welcomed by Village Administrator Gedalye Szegedin.
Schumer had lunch in Kiryas Joel with Village officials where Mr. Szegedin gave the Senator an overview of the incredible growth of the Village and expressed his appreciation to the Senator for his help in ensuring the vibrancy of the community.
Senator Schumer also paid a visit to the home of the Satmar Rebbe at his home in Kiryas Joel where he was warmly welcomed by the Rebbe and received a bracha for Hatzlacha.

That's not true! I have Satmar friends and they would totally understand this as an attempt at a friendly gesture. Also, no Satmar hate Israelis, but don't accept the Israeli government as valid under Jewish law.

Senator Schumer, thank you for supporting the federally funded US Holocaust Museum in DC, which has three permanent exhibits on the Jewish Holocaust. Please ask the museum to support an exhibit on Remembrance 2025, Armenian Genocide, 110 Years. 1.5 of 2 million of my grandmother's people were lost in 1915. There was no exhibit in 2015. Remembering my ancestors and the ancestors of other Americans, Cambodians, Rawandans, etc. who have faced a holocaust should be on display in a permanent exhibit at the museum.

You should be! because once this meeting is over they sing a very different song behind closed doors. They absolutely despise modernity, I know this community well, I went to his schools and interacted with him on many occasions. That guy next to senator Schumer should be embarrassed by calling this garbage dump a college. It's money sucking from the government using taxpayer dollars to lie about their phony institutions.
