The singers name is Christopher Hall. Former lead singer for Stabbing Westward. This is his new band The Dreaming. Just thought I would give that info for those of you who didnt know. :) BIIIIG Stabbing Westward fan and now The Dreaming fan.
I remember listening to them in high school. Idk like 2008? I was bummed I couldn’t find this album on limewire. It’s cool it’s on RU-vid, wish it was on Spotify. I’d like to add it to my emo playlist.
I was sad to hear about Stabbing Westwards collapse, and when I first saw/heard the Dreaming I thought they were going to be a poor substitute. But since I've listened to more of their music I've discovered that they are actually pretty good. I'm willing to give them time to find their true sound and hopefully they go more towards this route. If not, I'll still listen to them, it just wont be the same. Good cover, though. My favorite cover of this is probably from Zeromancer.
I heard this song first and became a fan of The Dreaming almost instantly, btw yes is hard to find this song but I'll make it easy for you, I found it at Fixtstore. Just search for Send me an angel and you'll find it and it's only a dollar. Well worth it
Some complain that there is not enough "edge" to this cover, but it certainly has a lot more edge than the original. I view it as a compromise between styles that puts there spin on it while paying homage to the original.
This band has always been very good, too bad Stabbing Westward made so many bad dicisions and closed out, but this new version The Dreaming gives us some hope for the future.
I prefer the older BVB material over the new, it's turning too glam... Anyway, I kinda miss Jinxx with the Dreaming, he fit the band perfectly. Same with Carlton Bost. I really dig the new lineup as well, but I kinda miss the two guitarist setup.
Dude, What if you're in a different continent and there's no way of getting the album other than torrent or free music downloading sites. It sucks but what to do instead. I share my music with everyone I know and spread the word. That's all I can do.
Dude, go see myzuka.ru I've been downloading music from that Russian Site for over 4 years. You type the artist name then go to album then to song then to Russian written word and click it and off you go
haha the dreaming is wayyy better than black veil brides, the dreaming don't try to be hardcore lil emo kids with horrible make up lmao AND the dreaming's singer actually has a good voice!!!!!!
