The fact that it's on stadia means that I am literally incapable of playing it, because it would never work where I live. I'm just hoping they actually release the game.
BAM! After they made the Ocs Must Die online game, I didn't even think that they would make a third regular installment into the series, but I'm glad to see that they are! Only being on Stadia at the moment is a big "nope" from me though, so hopefully it gets brought to PC and consoles soon enough.
@@jinsodia I actually did enjoy the online game myself as well. I think I inevitably got sidetracked by other things like usual, but I remember having fun with it for a little while at least. Still, when a game franchise like this makes the leap to "online", I usually assume that they're giving up on their original format. Either way I'm glad to see I was wrong. :)
stadia isn't supported in Jersey so he can't play it :/ I would have loved to see him play this game, the old ones were some of my favorite Sips series
I mean, it (or atleast the technology) literally is, it's just that we aren't exactly in the future now are we? When more people have stable/better connections, and the cost/technology of hosting games in such a way is improved, streaming will eventually have no notable performance issues. Which means you _could_ buy a PC for 2 grand to play at max graphics, or you can buy a months access to a PC for nothing. I got no interest in the technology since my PC's fine and I have absolutely zero interest in most AAA games but it IS the future.

@@pagatryx5451 Is it though? All of our experience says, as PC performance increases, the demands of games increase too. And the performance is always going to be better if you have a powerful machine that you're playing on directly
@@GaenaralHONK Correlation doesn't imply causation. Yes, PC performance increases. And yes, the demand for games is also increasing. But technology and industries always grow over time. I don't really think more people are getting into gaming because the PC's are getting better. They are getting into gaming because it's becoming more mainstream and *cheaper* . Most people, after all, do not have PC's that cost even more than one grand. And consoles are popular enough with casual audiences and they aren't exactly rocking the best of tech. If you look at the gaming industry, the largest area of it right now is mobile gaming. Why? Everybody has phones and the games are very cheap/free. So if anything, all our statistics suggest that available hardware with very affordable games is where the demand truly is. But phone games suck. Thus, if people can pay a very small amount of money to place modern games that aren't free pieces of trash on their TV/monitor which we all have, the demand will undoubtedly be there. And no, their performance will probably be better if streaming tech improves. Most people won't be gaming on massive rigs, they'll be playing on budget builds. So the performance, or at least the power, should drastically improve. It would also be popular with students living in part time accommodation, small apartments where having a monolith PC might be annoying and younger people who will have an easier time convincing their parents to buy them a monthly subscription than an entire PC. Again, I have little interest in the tech as of yet, but I can see how it could dominate the industry in ten years time.
@@pagatryx5451 'as PC performance increases, the demands of games increase too' by this he means the performance requirements of the games, not better PCs = more games/gamers/better games as for stadia and the other similar solutions, it will never really be relevant, especially moving forward with what Nvidia has to offer, hardware prices go down, thus making PCs and consols even more relevant, why spend $600 on stadia for 5 years when u can get an Xbox, PlayStation, or a pc and get a better experience for the same cost? hell, integrated graphics have come a long way in laptops... fyi a budget build pc can play most games on decent settings
i fucknig loved OMD 1 and 2, and this is the first time ive heard about it. if it was on steam it probably would of been a day 1 deluxe order, but the fact that its "out" and i and a lot of others seem to of never heard of it coming out... makes you wonder why would you go stadia exclusive.

Man, I really love this kind of interactive, first or third person tower defense game. Satisfyingly functional base building, but mistakes in your strategies aren't too punishing since you can fill in the gaps yourself! It's a really fun game concept. Sanctum 2 is another similar game if people are looking to try something like this.

making enemies go through your main box of traps twice is very good basicaly like a fancy less reliable but more fun tar trap as both cause the enemy to spend more time in your other traps.
i know who Tom is cause he used to edit Sips's videos. it's not a wonder their senses of humor align. I remember when sips was in sim city and made the Tom Clark Memorial Megatower in honor of his editor
I remember watching sips playing 1 and 2 was the first time I really watched any yogs video other than the MC stuff and then the thing where he tried new games every week or whatever it was. Good times.

This will include Steam." - Orcs Must Die devs While I'd love to see a full playthrough of this, I can be patient. I'm perfectly happy to wait for it to be released as an offline-playable game. Cloud gaming might be the future, but that future seems a long way off with current tech.
Why haven't I heard about this 3rd game coming out!? Oh...Stadia...well the silver lining about all these exclusivities is that I get more time to focus on my backlog.
Sorry to hear the stadia thing! I got a Stadio and Chromecast free but can't use it because my connection is 500kbps, but looks like I wouldn't be able to use it even with good networking
Man I really want to play this but the idea of getting it exclusively on Stadia bothers me. I don't have platform allegiance, it's just that it's the only game I'll own on there. But... that's how Stadia works. You're streaming the game from one of their systems. This is one of the few cases where, due to the nature of the system, a single player game has to be online only.
tom i would love to see a series on this but i wont be mad if you don't because of the problems with stadia so maybe wait and see if it gets fixed to do a series or wait for it to come out on PC if it does but whatever you do i'll still watch your videos on a side note you have become my favorite youtuber so just keep keep being you
