People like you and Dr. Karen Becker changed my ways and stance in regards to neutering and dog nutrition. My two labs just thrive on raw and fresh food.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Dr Becker and the dog nutritionist same here. I have a new mini Doxie. Never told me he had hookworm. I am feeding all bio diet so had a stool rechecked and the vet said since he is a small breed you can neuter him at 5 mos. I mentioned to her about dr Becker and not deserving your dog if one is a responsible guardian I lost my other dachshund at 10 due to cancer and for 2 yrs noting what were nutritional deficiencies and goes no where. Allopathic Vet care is the same sorry care as allopathic human med. puppy looking and feeling better in a week❤
I'm here because my older dog's skin allergies have got worst and worst and at this point, it's just a cycle of steroids, antibiotics, and powerful allergy meds!
So is mine, but had a light bulb moment, while transitioning on to this diet, my dog has a yeast infection, it's almost impossible to seperate that to what was believed to be an allergy, I was trying to transition my dog onto this diet gradually with the ingredients, she's underweight and possibly needed the carbs, flare up!!!, it's the carbs feeding the yeast., have removed the extra carbs, hoping that will sort the problem.....
Saying the recipe is in the description and giving to link to your book is a bit misleading. Nothing wrong is saying recipie is in my book and here is the link, but this is not the way. Watched a lot of your videos and enjoyed it but not this move.
Oh my where have you been ?? I got a nutritionist for my pup 3 years ago but she obviously left out some important ingredients. Thank you !!! If you have any specific tips for toy breeds like Maltese I would love to hear them. Again thanks for the information.
If I feed my dog fresh food, or change his diet in any way, he gets diarrhea & starts vomiting. The diarrhea can last a week or more. My Yorkie is allergic to chicken & on a grain free diet & doesn't like to eat vegetables.
Hi there, sounds like a tricky case. I'd recommend booking in a consultation so we can chat more about your pup and what he can/can't eat over the phone. You can book on my website
Please provide video on feeding dog with diabetis. Trying a switch to fresh food and low carb to help prevent glucose spikes and it seems to help. However, we must feed at 12 hr intervals.
Im interested in switching my two dogs to a more natural diet, but I keep seeing a lot of recipes/videos that include organ meats (I'm not sure I could handle those!). This recipe doesnt include them though, so does that mean there's an appropriate alternative? Thanks so much!
3 of my 5 dogs do not like fish or fruit, Is there an alternative to them? I use a few supplements but I want to make sure they're getting all they need.
Hello! It's completely possible! We can customize a meal plan to ensure they receive the nutrients they need. Send us a message here: help@thedognutritionist.com
Hello, I appreciate your videos. I have a female 13 yrs old mixed breeds dog. She has been diagnosed with Addison's desease. She is on the minimum amount of prednisone still she is dbl-extra hungry, too anxious. For now she is on Farmina Digestion, but I was wondering if there is a special diet for that she should eat, considering her condition? Thanks in advance!
Hi there! Yes our multivitamins includes seaweed. Check it here: www.thedognutritionist.com/products/all-round-supplement-topper?selling_plan=5556076695&variant=41104431087767
Do you have any suggestions/recipes for dogs with liver shunts? My dog has a congenital VSP which means the shunt surgery is off the table due to his size and anesthesia. Please & thank you!
Hey there, yes I would recommend my liver support plan on my website. It will include recipes for Liver shunts. I have done loads of research on portosystemic shunts, and fish/ dairy need to be the predominant protein sources to maximise longevity. The liver plan will provide the research as well as the recipes.
This is great & has given me the confidence to start preparing my older dog’s food myself. Thank you. Please could you advise on the raw bone issue. I’ve routinely avoided giving bones because of fears of choking. So I could do with some specific do’s & dont’s if you you could??
