In this workout we'll be going through some great standing cardio routines that will get your heart rate up and get your body moving and feeling great!
Weekly cardio routines are great for heart health and help keep your body flexible and nimble. Having great cardiovascular health is essential to living an active lifestyle no matter what age you're at.
The moves and exercises in this video are designed for you to do easily in your own home and doesn't require any equipment, only you!
This is a full body workout incorporating both upper body and lower body movements from your arms, legs, back and core. All of these elements together will help strengthen your balance which is so important during everyday activities.
Always remember to drink lots of water (have it close by) and only do movements that you feel comfortable with. Never force any discomfort, listen to your body and stay flexible.

I know this video is 2 years old, but I just found it and truly appreciate the tempo and attention to knees and doing what feels comfortable. I had been doing Leslie Sansone’s walk videos and they are just too fast for me now. It’s time to listen to our bodies and do what is best once we approach our 60’s, 70’s and beyond. When you live an hour from the nearest fitness venue, are newly diagnosed with osteoporosis and have old injuries to contend with, a video like yours is a godsend!!! Everything about it is perfect: the pace, your directions, the background music and the length of the workout. Thank you so much! 🥰 This is truly a blessing. I’m only 32, but I had a stroke at 30 and my heart is very weak. I always have to modify workouts. It is very important for me to take care of myself and also to remain active. I didn’t have to modify this at all, but I also got the workout my body needed today.

So glad I found this. I have arthritis from the jaw down and fibromyalgia. I have been doing this routine daily for two weeks. Towards the end I am going half pace, but reassure myself it's still doing me good . I can already feel the benefit: I've lost weight and my balance is definitely improving too.

I'm so glad I found you on my tv you tube channel about a month ago. Your exercise routines are by far the best out there. You have such a friendly easy manner as well as a professional presentation. I do this workout and one of your other routines depending how I feel every morning and I follow up with a TaiChi Qigong exercise routine. Hi Meredith! I too add my thanks. My mother who is senior and in need of exercise did this routine today. She found it challenging but feels encouraged to try it again. It can be hard to find routines that are not too overwhelming for a true beginner. I did it with her and thought it was fun. Perfect anytime but especially in quarantine!

Thank you Meredith, I have been doing this video about 5-6 times a week for almost 2 months now during the Covid mess. I added 3 pound weights to get a bit more of a workout. I am a 70 year old yoga teacher with questionable knees who has been teaching for 20 years and practicing for over 55 years and, this seems to really work for me in addition to walking 30 minutes with the dog and doing upper body weights with 5 and 8 pounds. You are easy to listen to and follow. As a matter of fact, you inspired me to teach my own yoga class on zoom as I'm still not teaching in person yet!

Thank you Meredith for this, it's ideal for me when it's raining or snowing like it is today and I don't want to do my daily walk. I can't believe how uncoordinated I have become considering I used to do high impact aerobics and step classes in the 80's and 90's until I had injuries.
