But Ayatullah Qazvini quite immaturely called for Mubahila without even going through any evidence-based discussion, so this is why Al Islaah responded by telling him to first complete the evidence-based discussion before pursuing anything else. Al Islaah nominated the names of some top Iranian Maraje and Mujtahideen who support their stance, and told Qazvini we are saving you the money to pay for our tickets. These are scholars in your own backyard and neighborhood. Debate them, and if you can defeat them with evidence, it will force us to reconsider our stance as well. But Ayatullah Qazvini did not respond to this offer at all. Isn't it strange that he is prepared to debate and dispute with foreigners located thousands of miles away over this, but he ignores the grand Ayatullahs who hold the same position as our respected Sayyid in his own backyard? Once you understand this you will understand why people at Al Islaah do not look favorably upon publicity stunts and insincere gimmicks. It was also pointed out in those episodes that the Hawza establishment in Qum cracked down on Ayatullah Sayyid Kamaal al-Haidari, took away his right to teach and preach, de-platformed him, and placed him under house arrest. Why didn't Ayatullah Qazvini step in to stop them and tell them: instead of using force against scholars, let us have a civilised debate or even a Mubaahalah with him after debate fails? They crack down upon their own top level grand Ayatullahs, and then they expect foreign scholars to eagerly hop on the first flight when they issue an invite for engagement? Are you so blind you can't see the blatant double standards in this?

​@Al-Islaah Come on, you claim others having double standards when you don't present the full picture to the general public. When you use Ayt Khui's study of Rijaal and show evidence from his book that he's called one of the narrators a liar (which you use to justify the hadeeth to be Ghuluw), but you don't mention the basis and the mabna that Ayt. Khui has used which many, multiple, numerous scholars and maraje humbly disagree with. By not mentioning all the facts, don't you find hypocrisy and double standards in what you're presenting to the general public, and that you're misguiding them..? Shame on You

They will never debate. They cherry pick the hadeeth and use the shoulder of top maraje like Ayt. Khui to justify their arguments. Sweet talking from the front, stabbing the Imaan of the people from the back. If they really wanted to, leave aside debating, they would have just gotten their basis correct and no one would've had an issue with them. One of their own co-founders disagrees with their basis, now and has peacefully moved to Iran, not to debate, but actually learn to be able to guide the ummah. May Allah guide them

@@Criticalthinker14 First of all, in the expose of the notorious liar behind the "Ibrahim (as) was Ali's (as) Shia" narration, our respected Sayyid did not only show Sayyid al-Khui's grading. He showed the unreliability of the narrator from Sayyid Sistani's Mabna as well as that of Ayatullah Shaykh Asif Muhsini, both of whom have tried to revise and rectify any possible errors in Sayyid al-Khui's Mabna. So the case is iron-clad and rock-solid. Besides the narrator in question was cursed by Imam al-Ridha (as) according to reports accepted by the aforementioned Ayatullahs. We challenge you to show a single Marja who has disagreed with all the above Rijali authorities on this? You won't be able to, because this isn't about Sayyid al-Khui's gradings alone. So shame on you for lying and trying to cast false aspersions and unfounded accusations.

@@Criticalthinker14 Once again, you don't give up lying. It seems like you don't even watch the lectures. The Sayyid doesn't confine himself to Ayatullah al-Khui. He brings in the gradings of those of his students who have refined his Mabna and improved on it such as Ayatullah Sayyid Sistani and Ayatullah Muhsini. So your problem is with the combined stances of the highest level Rijali scholarship, it seems, because our Sayyid is himself very critical of the mistakes in Sayyid al-Khui's methodology, and this is why he factors in the corrections by his students as well. As for Shaykh Ali Kermali, he clearly stated in his latest videos that he agrees with reform and wants it in the community, but he wants to focus on reforming the scholars first and working more closely with them, which is pointless because the scholars have written themselves that they will not dare to reform the public until the public reforms itself and raises its maturity level. Check out what Ayatullah Muhsini has written when commenting on the toxic culture the people of the Mimbar have created by sharing weak, unreliable and fabricated Ahadith which have now become Aqidah for people, as was shown by the Sayyid in his recent series: “This tragic condition has led to the formation of a culture of distortions and misrepresentations in knowledge, ethics, and beliefs, and it is so rooted in the minds of the common people and the half-educated scholars that a group of the Khawāṣṣ (i.e., the elite, most learned & advanced level, well-versed scholars) cannot speak about Iṣlāh (reforms, rectification, and course-correction) because of the fear of revolt and uprising of the ʿAwāmm (masses/general public). Religious officials and seminaries have shown lack of interest in filtration and sifting of narrations and editing of extensive Islamic information. This is a great danger to the Dīn (religion) and its people (i.e., its followers and adherents). Innā Lillahī wa innā ilayhi rājiʿūn. We are Allah’s and to Him are we returning! (Qur’ān: 02:156)." It is therefore not our unique conclusion that engaging with scholars without first reforming the masses is fruitless; it is the informed opinion of Ayatullah Shaykh Asif Muhsini. He has clearly stated that the current cultural and intellectual climate among the masses prevents scholars from effectively calling for necessary reforms. Therefore, our immediate focus is on educating the masses and raising their intellectual level to create a conducive environment for meaningful reform. Without the work we are doing, Shaykh Ali Kermali can study all his life in Qum, he will never be able to reform anything when he comes back, because the ignorant community will create such a ruckus and spread violence and chaos as they did against him at Urban rose, scaring him into withdrawing from public reform itself. Inshallah, we are hoping that by educating the public and enlightening them with the researches of our respected Sayyid, we will prepare the ground for the Maraaje and other scholars to feel more comfortable to call for reform. Then when Shaykh Ali Kermali returns from Qum, he will encounter a receptive and welcoming audience ready to hear him out and engage with his research.
