That's Tommy Lane. He's the only one crazy enough to slide into bases and to dive to make defensive plays. Nickname: Pigpen! Unfortunately, he's now playing on God's All Star Team. Tommy passed earlier this year (2024).
Canon SX60 camera, actually. Sliding into 2nd & 3rd only. Not 1st or home. Separate plate at home (off to the left of home) to avoid collisions. Rule is the same as first base. Ball gets there before reaching the offset plate, you're out!
Here in indy we have senior leagues too. Dont kid yourself some of these guys can still play and some still hit 300ft plus home runs with those senior bats
