I would never get car shield again The Ford repair shop where they service my car tell me that car shield is giving them a hard time paying them so they do not accept them anymore So I went to another company.🤷🏼♀️🤷🏽♀️
If wanting a car warranty, here is how I would go about gathering information. In your city, go to at least 3 well known auto repair shops. Talk to the manager about which warranty is the best. to buy. I am sure you will get the truth..the good and bad. 😊😊😊
Thanks Bill for the comment. It makes sense to talk to those that have to work with the warranty companies. That's why I am holding these classes so I can inform them. I instruct them and anyone else, that if you own your car with no payments, then take the payment you used to make and put that amount into a savings account for future repairs - NOT maintenance. - Greg
Agree, a clamps broke, hose came off, trans loss fluid. Trans had to be replaced. They didn't pay a penny😮 toward my new trans. Dropping them. I learned the hard way, $6000.00 later!!!
You know far more about car repair than I do, but having owned about 40 cars in my 60 years of driving I can say this: There is no 'free lunch' owning a car. Whatever level of car you buy, you will end up paying about that amount per month as long as you have the car. First it is lease or purchase payments, then it will be repairs...including the basics like tires and brakes, plus all the mechanical stuff. we all think once we pay a car off, it will be a free or cheap ride. LOL, nope.
