Happy New Year to everyone! Thanks for joining the journey here on my channel in 2020 - it has been a very exciting year for me with starting to produce content for RU-vid in the first Corona Lockdown. I am so happy and thankful about this great community here, all your lovely comments and every single one of you who is following my trips and helping this awesome community of travelers and likeminded people to grow. I am looking very forward to 2021 - with more journeys and hopefully all of you on board for the next adventures!
I am really very enjoy and love the views capture through during bike Riding.. and very surprised the midnight shot 📸 👍 my wish i saw this view from my own eyes 😍
I agree with you about staying and exploring Senja, it is so beautiful. I love the history of each town you visit. I prefer to stay on the back roads and visit the small towns when I traveled in the U.S.A. The people are so much nicer and the food is so much better. I found the restaurants did not cook all frozen foods (YECK!). The scenery is so much prettier too! I kind of figured your traveling companion would change his mind about the hike as he saw the spectacular and breathtaking views get better as you climbed higher. Thank you so much for sharing. God Bless and protect you.
Happy New Year Leah, Du hast Recht mit jedem Video wird die Reise schöner und wow dieses Senja. Atemberaubende Aussichten. Und dein Reisepartner hat sowas von Tool Time. Der Nachbar den man nie sieht.... Irgendwann werden wir auch ihn zu Gesicht bekommen. LG
Oh, what a gorgeous video! I live in northern Norway, so I know the landscape is beautiful, but as an amateur photographer myself, I think you are being too modest and humble about your photo- and videography (and editing) skills. Filming or photographing gorgeous landscapes does not automatically make gorgeous videos or photos :) I've watched several of your Northern Norway videos, and they are really inspiring. It's snowing in Tromsø today, and my trusty old motorcycle is winter hibernating in my mother's garage hundreds of kilometers from here :( I have been to Senja, but I want to kind of do what you did; take a few days there, camp out, ride around and see the different parts of the island. You are a great ambassador and promoter on your journeys, thank you!
Thank you for this nice comment! I think camping out is actually an amazing idea in Senja - we didn’t have camping gear with us but highly regretted it. You are very lucky, from your home it’s not a very long trip to there. Wish I could go to senja every summer, I still had so many places there I wanted to hike and see...
Wow! How beautiful is Senja especially without the clouds and rain! The views from the top of the mountain were stunning and a worthy reward for the effort of the climb. I had a similar poor foot ware experience while on a bike trip in Lech, Austria. An all fours scramble to the summit in t shirt jeans and trainers with a carrier bag for my map and water. Lots of funny looks from people more appropriately attired. Going up was fine but coming down not so! It’s been a pleasure following your journeys this year Lea. Best wishes for 2021.
Yes, in the beginning I was like “oh, all these people who are completely over equipped with all their hiking gear, it’s very fine in sneakers”. On the way down I was like 🥶🤯 Always doing the same mistake when it comes to prioritizing proper shoes versus less weight... 😄
very nice :), And a very common mistake from tourists coming to Norway. They are not prepeared for the though hikes, and weather. Shoes and warm clothes the most frequent issue. And, they get lost when trying to take shortcuts... Good to see that you made it :).
This was a very serene and tranquil portion so far. I concur, it’s worth returning to Senja and spending more time there. The gorgeous scenes, the calm waters, the meadows and valleys are stunning. That was just amazing to see the sun on the horizon between 12 and 2am. 🙏
thanks for our excellent video on Loforton islands and Vesteralen .i want to visit Loforton islands for the midnight sun and for the dancing Northern lights.I hope your foot is now better.!
Excellent video, looks like my route is going to be changed again to take in mini Norway 😂 have a wonderfull new year and keep the videos coming Crosstourertony
I like your German accent, stunning episode. I've just subscribed! Best wishes from Canada, I highly recommend to come and travel through Alberta starting from Calgary and British Columbia to Tofino on Vancouver Island where the rainforests are. Take your BMW with you, the best way to hit the road with stunning views. Hopefully, we'll forget about this Covid soon...
@@Got2Go Oh! Which location you enjoyed the most? My favorite is the rainforest, like an Avatar place, different world... The road from Banff to Jasper is one of Top 10 in the world I heard
Happy New Year Lea. You can be sure that i follow u and your friend all the way to the northern cape even though i have been there 2 times myself. It`s a cool place, hope u like it.Norway is fantastic
Worth every step, even in the wrong footwear, probably worth the insect bites and discomfort to witness such amazing views and stunning midnight sun, envious is an understatement but thank you for your efforts and skill for allowing us to be with you on these travels, ride safe and stay safe, Derek
The best place to enjoy the magnificence of the iconic mountain Segla is from near summit Hesten. Segla is the most famous mountain on Senja island in Northern Norway.
You went from 6 layers on the road to a T-Shirt up in the mountains which were further north. I'm guessing this was sometime around August. Amazing scenery again but I see the terrain becoming more tundra-like. Beautiful midnight sun photography. Thanks again for sharing your adventures.
You are a superb film maker...............this is superb. Very best of luck for your travels next year, if only I was younger I would give anything to travel with you as we are so alike...........except you are FAR better looking LOL! Thank you for sharing your life.
Yep Lea and travel partner Happy New year to you fantastic views from the top of the mountain and the colours was amazing glad you got some good sunshine great vid see you in your next adventure 🤗🏍👍✌
No comment on his impressive work about Senja, nothing about on his special detail in the comments, neither about Zermatt.... Just a single wich for hope and joy... A happy New Year with good news,... I wish see a big smile in the next year on everyone face.... Happy New year, for both "knights"
Loving the journey 👍🇳🇴. My wife is from Sweden and we have friends in Norway. We’ve visited only two times as we live in Australia and really couldn’t be any further away. So it is with much joy as we watch and follow your RU-vid travels through Norway. Norway has to be one of the worlds most beautiful countries. The magnificent mountains and fjords are truly breathtaking. 🎉 Happy New Year and I wish you may safe travels in 2021👍😀🏍. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺.
At the moment I wouldn’t be unhappy about being in Australia - summer and so much better corona situation! But indeed Norway is absolutely out of this world stunning! Sometimes still can’t believe it when I watch the videos! ☺️ All the best to you and happy new year!!!
Thank you for the excellent content and showing how beautiful Senja Island is. Norway should make you and your partner Honorary Ambassadors. Wish you, your partner and everyone viewing this channel a Happy New Year!
Another wonderful video, Lea. Both Senja and you are natural beauties. Norway continues to amaze me. Looking forward to your next episode. Stay safe. 👍🇨🇦
@@Got2Go Happy NewYear Lea . Hopefully 2021 will see the end of the pandemic and allow you and all of us to get back on the road and enjoy our bikes. And for you to continue your adventures in Africa. Cheers, Dan
Wow Lea, an absolutely beautiful and interesting presentation of Mini-Norway! Motorbiking and hiking look like great experiences there! And what i'm definitely looking forward to in 2021 is your next episode! Happy New Year to you, your travel partner and everybody who reads this 🥂🍀👍
Another brilliant video. I’m in love with you, for your perfect narration and imagery, and Senja for its natural beauty. Both amazing! Thank you for producing this level of artistry and excellence. Ride safe.
Hi Lea, Stunning road trip via the west coast of Norway! My compliments. I once did a road trip by car via Finland to Alta and visited North Cape. But , yeah the rain sometimes around the artic circle is a thing... Certainly a challenge to do via motorcycle. Good luck on your next trip... Cheers, Daan (NL)
Wonderful footage of a beautiful country, made by a professional. You certainly have an eye for your surroundings. The emphasis is on the country and not on the riding itself, like with so many other vloggers. Thank you, Lea. Frohes neues Jahr.
Amazing scenery, amazing footage ! I have never seen the midnight sun before. Thank you very much Lea ! Love your content, the words you choose to describe what you see and your lovely accent. Hello from Rio.
I did enjoy👍🏻 the video. You get to ride in some amazing 🥲 places. I live in Texas but one day soon I’m going to ride up to Prudhoe bay Alaska. There is were I’ll get to see the midnight sun. From my home to Prudhoe Bay is about 4500 miles or 7242 km one way. There’s so many magnificent places to see along the way in the USA 🇺🇸 and Canada 🇨🇦. We hope to see you Exploring the vastness of the US one day soon. To get a good look you may have to stay at least a year. Ride safe and have fun. 🇺🇸
Happy new year to you too! I already spent about 4 months in the us and Canada on my worldtrip - was not long enough though! Really some beautiful places to ride! Hope to come back when corona is over again! ☺️
Another breathtaking video. That view from the mountain was well worth the climb (especially as I didn't need to struggle up and down). Hope your foot problem was not troll related. Happy New Year.
I´ve just discovered your channel and I can´t believe my eyes!! This is, by far, the best channel I know, I love trail bikes, but I also love travelling. What a way you have to mix it all!! Congratulations for your editing skills, and the way you narrate everything! Just wanna grab my bike and go exploring!! Keep doing stuff like this!!!
Senja is such a wonderful place. It was my first ever goal when I got my licence and bike to go there and see the northern lights and I did😍 But what I didn't expect was the the beauty of the island, I really loved it there.
It was and I can only describe it as a moment of perfect and magical beauty. You should see them! Senja is a good place to catch them later in the year, i was there I august.
Thanks for making the best travel programmes ever! Is it the case that you drive on the left in Norwegian tunnels....most confusing British habits! May your travels in 2021 be long ones full of adventure and discovery! Best wishes. Nick
No, you don’t drive left in Norway! This was only because the truck was too big to get in the little niche that was carved in the side of the tunnel to be able to pass by (it’s really only one lane tunnels on senja), so the car and I had to go in that niche instead to get around the truck and keep us all going. ☺️ Best wishes to you too Nick!
