This show is funny because its equal parts serious and goofy.

You probably missed it because of the surprise, but Tsukasa said that Taiju is the first one who doesn't fall unconscious by his kick.

If you watch until the end of the episode there is a warning that everything seen in the series can be recreated and that you should'nt do it because it is dangerous and even illegal And that is one of the charms of this series ❤ I can't wait to see the next episodes

So in episode 1 in the scene with senku counting, it shows him almost go unconscious but he and taiju kept thinking the whole time, but implies.most people just go to sleep. So their not thinking and going insane or changing personality over time. It's like in this episode it's like cryo stasis or cold sleep, they turn to stone and fall asleep for the whole time

All of the science in the show is vetted and legit. It's really one of a kind among anime for its accuracy.

Something this manga as that always make me shiver is the fact of how many characters are willing to die or sacrifice they own life in order to protect senku and the future.

This is a great anime to watch. As reference to get an idea of intelligence between characters. Yuzuriha would be your typical average iq 90-109. Taiju would be realistically your typical jock with an IQ 80-89. Tsukasa would likely be either high average of 110-119 or superior 120-129. And for Senku, he would either be gifted 130-144 or 145-160 for very gifted. Then again, this is anime, Senku is 200 crazy or something.

this show is about science. it's not about chance. when the science is right, it can't go wrong. you don't have to expect the worst every time especially when proper science went into the process.

you should watch the english dub as well, the voice is so good

The only thing thats so unfortunate is that this anime aired at the same time as kimetsu, thats why its so underrated

One thing that came to mind while watching your reaction was the fact that war and conflict have always been a problem in recorded history. Factions build up and split and those split groups may end up fighting for resources to survive. Tsukasa can't prevent civilization developing for very long. The problem he has is with some humans being crap people. His is a pipe dream.

Takeaway is the lovechild of Baki, Pickle, and Dio.
