Couple of items to mention here: On the receiver AF Out is useful in going from line out to mic out to match camera input level. Transmitter sensitivity is not only useful to compensate for different microphone sensitivity but can be used input a line level signal as in the case of a camera audio hop. Setting up multiple G3 you need to have the first transmitter/receiver operating before frequency scanning second set(i.e. second set needs to see the first operating during its frequency scan). Third set needs to see the first two sets operating. Otherwise you can can multiple units on one frequency. You can use multiple receivers and only one transmitter for setting up camera audio hops or monitoring of audio using the IEM300 receiver.
how to record this to a zoom f6 if i have 4 sets ...4 receivers dangling with cables from the recorder is annoying, is there another cleaner solution or system to use something like these sennheiser
@@nickhuston4510 thanks, you'd think at that price point they would have them. I have a lav mic from Vocoprol that has a SMA which I bought a SMA to BNC adapter and put a rubber duck antenna on that , improved the length of the trans. Thanks for your time.
where should squelch be set to for normal environments so I don't effect audio quality, also I have 2 sets of these, do both sets need to have the same frequencies?? when I knew nothing about this, I had all kinds of drop outs were dialogue/ambient was cutting out completely off and on throughout scene. Im guessing they will be separate because they cannot compete with same frequency?
