Sennheiser HD 450BT Vs Sony WH-CH700N - While We Wait For The Sony WH-CH710N 

I bought my Sony WH-CH700N back in December and I absolutely love them for the price I got them at. $129.00. I only use them for home use and the sound and comfort of these headphones are really nice.

I got the sony wh ch 700n for like 2 years no ad i can tell you the sound is really good. The 'cracking sound' is really just sound the headphones are really sturdy.

Just bought those Sony headphones for 60 bucks lol what a steal. Just letting you know for the people out there looking into them, the sound is amazing and if you want to hear the finer detail like the sennheizers, you can go into the app and change everything around to make it that way.

I have those Sony’s and it sounds amazing They have excellent 40mm drivers and the Sony app makes them sound fantastic But why I bought the Sony’s?? Because there the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever put on Very light weight

I am just going to chime in, I am actually watching all of your videos to replace the Sony WH-CH700N headphones because they are by FAR the LEAST comfortable headphones I have ever worn. They sound alright for the price point, but don't work well beyond simple phone use (laggy and disconnects on laptops and desktops) and function well otherwise, but I have notably small ears and head and my ear is constantly on the back of the pads inside the ear cups and are beyond annoying to wear, heating up in minutes and being a bear to wear. The ANC on the Sonys also is very artificial sounding when there isnt much noise around you, I don't know how to explain it, but it really was a bad experience. I am watching this to replace my wired Sennheiser HD419 wired headphones so I can edit video wirelessly and take them on the go. The HD419s are the most comfortable pair of headphones I have ever owned, period.

I have both and for all that is thinking to buy one of them I said to all that the Sony's are better are more comfortable has better battery and for me better sound quality maybe the bass is to much for someone's, the sound in the sennheiser is more flat Good review

There's a new budget pair of ANC headphones that might punch way above it's weight class. You should review them if you can. It's the Taotronics Soundsurge 55, off amazon. Reason why I think they might be really good ANC headphones is because it's advertised as using a "Sony digital noise cancellation chip". The only Sony ANC chip I know of is the QN1. And that's in the 1000XM3. If the ANC is anywhere close to those, then they'd be a crazy good deal.

What's this deal with physically feeling the bass? Take any sound wave ranging from 30- 20khz ( modern producers mostly high pass anything below 30 anyway) apply a compressor with ratio of 8:1 and keep the release time longer ( boost the 29-30hz region with a wide Q value) Now use any dirt cheap headphone with SLOW bass response. Your head will rattle. Sony is applying the same/ similar DSP with rubbish driver in all their BTNC headphones ( even XM4) This rumbling bass ( when not present in music) is the first sign of a cheap badly tuned driver. In all high end headphones ( even for true bassheads) the bass response is very fast unless it's recorded slow ( like a open string bass note) Please for God's sake don't let the manufacturer fool you by providing slow bass response. Stop glorifying these flabby bass cannons as basshead cans. Not all wireless cans are bad like Sony's. Panda ( THX) is a basshead's delight, even Audeze Möbius is darn good in this department. Heck even something like PXC 550 when used with usb connection has faster bass response. There are plenty of basshead audiophiles ( the Fostex/ Mad Dog brigade) who will agree with me. This hype train of Sony BTNC bass needs to go away.

Good review. I've been prowling for headphones for sometime now. I've tried many. But none came close to the wh1000xm3 or wh-ch700n in terms of comfort for my ears. I can buy wh1000xm3 but the noise canceling is giving me headaches. I could try and get used to it but that would be an expensive experiment. And if it would not work out I would still have great headphones but could not use the premium feature of noise canceling. So are there any other headphones in the price range of whch700n with similar or better comfort for the ears and decent passive noise canceling?

I just bought 450BT today but do you know how to fix wire cable. the sound is difference compare to BT. lack of details - noisy. I dont know sound like 6$ headphone.

Don't buy this headphones they suck ass. Buy something on that range without Bluetooth and noice canceling and you'll have WAY better sound quality. Not just a little bit but WAAAYY BETTER and better comfort. Really the noice canceling isn't worth it.

The latency is because iphones are over priced junk!
