I bought these last week. Although they're not so new on the market now, they certainly have far exceeded my expectations, and great for the gym too. Thanks for the great review, I was wondering how to fast forward or rewind, and I didn't know the case itself could charge the batteries twice more. Now I know I made a great choice.
In terms of sound, how do these compare to the MTW3? TBH I've never understood the appeal of "sports earbuds" - true wireless buds to me are supposed to be portable and versatile for any situation anywhere. Used to use the MTW2 (and currently the FoKus Pros) in the gym and never had a problem... maybe I'm just weird? 🤣
I'd say the MTW3 is still more detailed and you can hear the instrument separation better, plus it's more open in terms of soundstage! I think they definitely have a place in the market, especially with earbuds that have higher IP ratings for people who really sweat a bunch etc. Fit is also another thing, since most exercise earbuds have wings/fins for a more secure fit! The Fokus Pros are small enough for me to use while exercising too, but I'd be more reluctant to use the MTW3 for example, because they're bigger in the ear, and when sweat comes into play, it's gonna get rather slippery hahah
