Sennheiser XSW-D vs AVX-MKE2 Review, range test, sound test
This video compares the new (2019) XSW-D wireless solution from Sennheiser to the older, but more professional, AVX-MKE2 wireless system, also from Sennheiser.
The primary focus of the video is testing the range, but you can also check out the sound of the two different solutions.
I recorded this video on the Sony A9, with the internal audio recording level set to 1 for the best performance. The XSW-D was recorded on the left channel through a 3.5mm jack input and the AVX-MKE2 on the right channel through an XLR input. The preamp / mixer used is the Beachtek DXA MICRO PRO PLUS. The preamp is connected to the Sony A9 through a 3.5mm stereo jack.
The audio haven't been modified, it's only had its levels adjusted to match each other.
