A requested video to compare the popular, up and coming brands, Senreve and Polene. I have been a fan of Senreve bags for a couple years now and have just dipped my toes in for Polene. Here is a first look at what I think of the two bags.
Since they are still new, I haven't made a conclusion of a favorite - will just list out facts for you to decide on your own!

Great review. I have the largest Maestra and the Numero Un. I really like both bags but use them very differently. My Maestra is a work and travel bag whereas the Numero Un, for me, isn’t quite big enough for work most days. I use the Numero Un more as true handbag. I definitely have to baby the Polene more but it’s such a beautiful bag - like stunning and I feel so classy carrying it. I would happily repurchase both bags and feel I got my “paid full-price” money’s worth.

Hey Sophie. I agree with you there! I use my Maestra for work and cannot see myself using it on a weekend. The Numero Un, on the other hand, is definitely a weekend and almost everyday bag. It is such a pretty bag but I am more careful with it! I certainly feel like I got my money's worth with mine too! For what it's worth, the midi size is a good option too and is more carefree than the Numero Un. However, I am glad I have the Numero Un in my collection for my "fancy" days out.

Kny Fortaleza I have both and I would agree. I think with the senreve the Dolce is a more luxurious leather.

The large maestras (even on the Senreve website photos - eg Taylor Hill holding the Maestro in blush) look a bit misshapen on the flap, like the way sheet metal gets dents. That has put me off buying in that size (I have a midi in mimosa storm), but maybe the dolce leather is more flexible and less susceptible to these dents-what do you think?

Hi! I’ve been on the fence between the mini and midi maestra. Just wondering if you could do a comparison of what fits inside a midi bag then move the contents to the mini? I want to see how the usual items for work could fit both bags. Like phone, cosmetics pouch, wallet, eyeglasses with case to be specific. Thank you! 🥰

wow what a collection! love the colors you chose for your Senreve bags, so powdery and pretty! This review is great - the first comparison I have seen between these two instagram/youtube brand bags :) Loved hearing your honest thoughts and seeing the bags side by side. From what I have seen of Polene on their online shop, I love the bags with the gold hardware in the front. So cute! I also love the design of your dark blue Polene! So chic

Yes, the maestra is perfect for laptop work bag! I think my favorite is still the midi maestra. If I didn't need to carry a laptop that would be my size. Also, the dolce leather is so supple and luxe feeling while still being so durable!

April! Happy Chinese New Year. There is quite a difference and I like both for different things. Polene does seem just a tad bit more "fancy" whereas Senreve is a good and durable bag! Yes, give it some good thought :) I just tried the coupon code and it still works for $50 a senreve bag. Have a good night!

I have been going between the two bags and brands. Thank you for this. The discount code and that Senreve can be ebates makes me lean more towards it even though Polene is a little cheaper.

Hey Julie! I have debated on the Polene for a while because I did have the Senreve bags already. However, they are quite different in looks and usage for me so it is worth having both. However, the discount code on Senreve is a big plus. Didn't know about the ebtaes so that's good to know! Which bag do you have in mind?

The blue or black croc in polene's numero un are great options too! You got some hard decisions ahead haha! Good news is you can't go wrong. I think any of those are good choices!

The dolce leather is quickly becoming my favorite! Love how soft it is and it is surprisingly similar to the polene leather but more durable!

Hi Nel. Thank you for your feedback. Always happy to hear what helps others! I like both bags for different reasons but have found myself using the maestra more because it is more durable. Your videos have tempted me so much! I actually bought quite a few senreve bags! I love them! My only question is how is the wear and tear on the bags? I’ve noticed a few people have said they had problems with the glazing peeling off.

Senreve bags are quite addictive for me so I can totally understand owning a few of them. Out of the bunch that I have, only one Senreve bag has had some glazing peels. The Maestra that I use for work that holds my laptop has shown very minor "flaking" on the glazing. I have peeled it off and only that small piece comes off. Once that is gone, I haven't noticed anymore peeling. None of my other ones have had this issue. If they do, I would contact Senreve so they can make it right. They have a good warranty. Hope that helps.

So out of the 3 sizes of the maestra bag, which one do you use the most? Or rather the most practical one? I've been on the fence about getting the midi.

Out of the 3 maestra bags, I have been using the large size the most because I use it as my work laptop bag. However, if I didn't need to carry a laptop, I probably would use the midi size more!

Thank you for the senreve review and it is helpful! Just wonder how is the leather strap doing after a year? Does the strap break as the mimosa leather is kind of hard. Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback! The leather on the mimosa or the dolce leather did not crack after years of use. I did notice some light peeling on the dolce leather's glazing but it is minimal and I peeled it off and it never came back. Hope that helps!

I like the silhouette of polene but for functionality senreve is still the best for me. I’m still living my midi lavender.

That is a fair statement. I think Polene is very unique and pretty. Senreve is definitely more durable and versatile. Glad you are enjoying the midi lavender! I have been using my Aria in ice lately and been loving that one :)

Thanks so much for this really informative vid! Which one is more comfortable to carry as a crossbody bag? I notice the Senreve pops forward / out and because of back problems i have, I'm scared to get Senreve

When you wear it as a crossbody, the Senreve Maestra doesn't pop out. It only pops out when you wear it as a shoulder bag. I find them both to be comfortable to carry. If you are carrying only on one shoulder, the Polene might be better since it doesn't pop forward.

Thank you for the video. What is the name of the color of the lighter bag in Dolce leather? Can you go through all the names of the colors you have in the Senreve bags please? I am trying to decide on the color of a new Alluna Senreve bag in pebbled or dolce leather. Thank you!

Hi Ranya. The dolce leather is in the color Butterscotch. The purple color is Lilac and in mimosa leather. The blue color is Spearmint and also in mimosa leather. Hope that helps!

The mimosa leather is a lot more stiff and doesn't "bounce" back should it get dented. I haven't noticed my mimosa getting very dented on the flap, but I also have not used it as much as my dolce maestra. For my dolce maestra, I have not notice this denting even though I use it 5 times a week for work. Like you had thought, the flexibility of the dolce leather could be the reason for not having these dents.

I considered Polene before I purchased my Maestra. I think Polene is quite cute, the price is good. But none of its size can hold my 14 inch laptop... that’s a deal killer. I can justify the splurge on Maestra because I use it for at least 5 days a week. If I can only wear it in the weekend occasionally, 400€ is too much or I’ll go for a better known luxury brand at even lower price

Very much agree! I use my Maestra 5 days a week as my work laptop bag. It is so durable. The polene can't fit my laptop so I can't use it for work. The durability makes the Senreve my number one choice as a work bag!

Hi Elizabeth. I just weighed it and the approximate weight is 2 lbs 2 oz for the Polene numero un. The Senreve midi maestra in mimosa leather is 2 lbs 11 oz. Hope that helps!

Hi! I watched another video where the person said a 13 inch MacBook fits in the Polene numero un. Is that not the case in your experience?

Hey! Yes, the 13 inch macbook does fit if you open all of the buttons and don't close the bag. It hangs out and distorts the shape. It doesn't look good and probably isn't good for the longevity of the bag.

Wow, that is interesting, my polene bag same size and design also have the “scratch” in the same spot.😅 i have the bag for 7 months now and have not seen the warping of the strap yet.. thank you for doing the review cause I am interested in mini maestra, I really want the celine belt bag but I feel like mini is almost similar to that, do you have any videos on the mini maesra review? How odd! That is a coincidence we have the same "scratch" on the Polene haha. Good to know that your strap is fine - mine isn't bad per say...just something I noticed. No damages or scratches that I can see still so far.

angeleyn thank you for responding, yes i have few in my mind, the wear and tear; comparison in terms of weight with other similar bags; the opening and closing of the bag when you wear it crossbody, these are fews that are kind of dealbreaker for me.. How do you find that handle of the polene bag? Heard from another RU-vidr that she finds the handle on the croc Poléne bag is really stiff, hard to carry the bag by handle

The top handle is very stiff compared to the rest of the bag, but I kind of like that since it feels sturdy. If you prefer a softer one to carry, check out the Senreve ones since those are much softer!

Not well. You can put it in there, but it won't close well. Wouldn't recommend the 13" in the polene

So far, I only notice a couple of small marks on the leather of the polene. Not very noticeable!

Can the polene bag fit laptop 11 Inc?

Hello. It depends on the type of 11" laptop you have. 11" is the diameter of the screen so the actual height or length might vary. Looking at the Macbook 11", for example, the dimensions should fit the polene. However, I don't own an 11" laptop so this is a best guess from me.

Hi Vanna. I don't own an ipad pro 11"...only the 9.7". From what I can see online, the ipad pro 11" has a height of 9.74” (247.6 mm), width of 7.02” (178.5 mm), and a depth of . 23” (5.9 mm). Whereas the polene is 12.6 x 6.5 x 9". Based on this it should fit. Sorry I cannot confirm further. Good luck!
