నా మైండ్ లోంచి పోవడం లేదు.. అర్జున్ రెడ్డి సినిమా గురించి తెలిసి చూసే ధైర్యం చేయలేదు. పొరపాటున చూసిన ఆ సందీప్ రెడ్డి వంగ జంతు ప్రదర్శన శాల గురించి మాట్లాడితే... చిన్నపుడు నుంచి అన్నయ్య అని పిలిపించుకున్న తనని ఆల్ఫా అనే లాజిక్ చెప్పి పడేయడం. ఈ దరిద్రం ఇప్పటి సమాజంలో , పిల్లలు ముందు మూతులు నాక్కోవడం. మన చుట్టూ ఉన్న పిల్లలు చూస్తారని తలుచుకుంటే .. కడుపులో ఏదో తెలియని కంపరం.. అక్క మొగుడిని చంపి కొత్త బావను తీసుకొస్తా అని అక్కకే చెబుతాడు. నేను పోయిన తరువాత పెళ్లి చేసుకోకు అని సొంత పెళ్ళానికి చెబుతాడు హీరో... మూర్ఖత్వం+పిచ్చి+ ఉన్మాదం+ టార్చర్ ఈ మూడింటిని మిక్సిలో వేసి కొడితే వచ్చేదే అనిమల్ సినిమా. ఆ సందీప్ రెడ్డి వంగ దృష్టిలో తండ్రి-కొడుకు ప్రేమ. తండ్రి మీద ప్రేమ అంటే తండ్రి మాట వింటూ ఈగ మీద వాలకుండా చూసుకోవాలి. ఈ సైకో హీరో కొడుకు దెబ్బకి తండ్రి వీడికి దూరంగా ఉండాలనుకుంటాడు. సర్జరీ అయ్యాక యూరిన్ పైపు లేకపోయినా నేను తిరుగుతున్నాను అని చెప్పడానికి లాన్ లో గుడ్డలు విప్పుకుని స్టాఫ్ ముందు తిరుగుతాడు . ఇది రచయిత డైరెక్టర్ దృష్టిలో హీరో పాత్ర ఆత్మ విశ్వాసం.. అండర్ వేర్లు గురించి, కింద షేవింగ్ గురించి, స్టాఫ్ తో పంచాయితీ పెట్టడం అదొక గొప్ప సన్నివేశం అన్నట్టు 3:20 నిమిషాలు నిడివి గల సినిమాలో కట్ చేయకపోవడం.. హీరోయిన్ అయిన తన భార్యను లాగి పీకి కాళ్ళు పట్టుకుంటాడు. వీపుపై గాయపరచి తరువాత వెన్నపూస రాయడం.. భందువులను తన స్వార్థం కోసం వాడుకోవడం బలి చేయడం. భర్త హార్ట్ డోనేట్ చేసిన లేడీతో సంసారం చేయడం. హీరోయిన్లతో పోటీపడి హీరో నగ్నంగా నటించడం మరొక హైలెట్ ఆఖరి 40 నిమిషాల ముందు అసలు విలన్ బాబి డియోల్ మూడో పెళ్లి చేసుకోబోతూ ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తూ మూగోడిగా ఎంటరవుతాడు. విలన్ పెళ్ళి చేసుకునే చోటనే ఒకడిని చంపుతాడు. ఆ రక్తపు చేతులతో పెళ్లి చేసుకుని, ఆ రక్తసిక్తమైన మొఖంతో తన కొత్త పెళ్ళాం మీద అక్కడ రేప్ లాంటి శోభనం కూడా మొదలెడతాడు.. హీరో పాత్ర అల్ ఖైదా పీకలు కోసే విడియోలు చూసి నేర్చుకున్నట్టు చాలా శ్రద్ధగా పీక కోయడం చూపిస్తాడు దర్శకుడు. రెండు బుల్లెట్లు తగిలినా చావుని తండ్రి కోసం ఒక 400 మందిని చంపుతాడు హీరో.. పై పాయింట్స్ కాక ఇంకా చాలా ఆణిముత్యాలు ఉంటాయి. కత్తితో పొడవడం ఓల్డ్ అనుకున్నాడేమో.. మటన్ కొట్టినట్టు మనుషులను కత్తులతో నరుకుతుండే పాత్రలు అన్ని ఇక్కడ పుష్కలంగా ఉంటాయి. స్వార్థం ఉన్మాదంతో ఇంతకు ముందు ఎవరూ తీయలేదా అంటే తీసారు. అందులో యాక్షన్, పాత్రల వీరత్వం ఎంటర్టైన్మెంట్ పరిధిలో ఉండేవి. ఇలా ఏదోక జోనర్ పరిధిలోకి వస్తాయి. ఒకవేళ ఉన్నా ఒకటి అర సిన్ల వరుకే ఉండేవి. చాలా తలలు నరికే సీన్లు చూస్తుంటాము . అక్కడ ఎక్కడా కనపడని భయానకంగా సందీప్ వంగా టేకింగ్ కనపడుతుంది. సహజంగా ఇటువంటి పాత్రలు విలన్ గా చూపెడతారు. సందీప్ వంగా మాత్రం హీరోగా చూపెడతాడు అదే ప్రమాదం.. నాకు అనిపించింది ఏంటంటే ఏదో బలమైన మానసిక రుగ్మతతో సందీప్ వంగా బాధపడుతున్నాడు .ఇతనికి ఖచ్చితంగా కౌన్సెలింగ్ అవసరం . సమాజం ఈరోజుల్లో సినిమాలనుంచి మెసేజ్ లు ఆశించడం లేదు. ఇటువంటి మానసిక రోగులు తీసే సినిమాల ప్రభావం ఖచ్చితంగా యువత మీద ఉంటుంది.. ఒకప్పుటి ఈ ఫిజియోథెరపీ డాక్టర్ సందీప్ వంగా తీసే సినిమాలకి మాత్రం ఎప్పటికీ పోను...🙏 Copied from Raj
I don't feel Sandeep sir statements wrong or senseless. When reviewers can shame the directors or writers when a particular scene or shot is bad by saying "Ee scene ni thagi rasi untadu" ani. Then the creator himself can also talk about the reviewers who shame the director and not the film... I don't feel it's wrong. Bcoz we are humans afterall, everyone gets triggered at some point. Like you got triggered and said that he is senseless, he also can get triggered and talk like that... He clearly mentioned, that he doesn't have any problem by doing reviews by noticing the defects it has and saying it out loud, this is called constructive critisism, and not by shaming the film by using wrong words. As a fan of both sandeep & barbell... I choose critical thinking 😇 Personally i loved Arjun & kabhir movies but Sandeep's Point of Views/Philosophy in interviews r on another dimension which unfortunately I didn't satisfied with. Even though I'll Watch his Animal definitely.

Sandeep got frustrated because all reviewers in Hindi focused on women abuse and not on all 24 crafts.. if women abuse is the main topic, why did Sanju get 3.5 was his frustration. I think kavalane he made this movie as he mentioned in the interview. He did exactly what he said.. i saw the movie already and I agree that it’s very toxic, messed up but also hooked me except in 2nd half for few minutes where Tripti Dimri comes. No matter what we should agree the fact that he is a great filmmaker and has the capability to do great movies
I don’t think toxic and messed up can be an attached as a liability to this film. It was very clear from day 1 that this is gonna be a film abt fucked up characters. It’s like going to a Metallica concert and complaining it’s too loud
I was not complaining bro.. I made it clear that I was hooked completely.. the movie was exactly what I expected it to be.. and it definitely explored toxic relationships between Father-Son, Husband-Wife and even Brother-Sister in some ways.. It’s about a messed up person who is mentally ill but convinced he is the Alpha 😅 I for sure enjoyed the movie in all aspects including songs, RR, Cinematography and even dialogues as I watched it in Hindi in its true form

But nothing worked at Box office.....eod they became ****yas.....yeah no one talked about technicalites.....I've never seen any bollywod critics/reviewer talked about any technical details of a movie from bollywood or tollywood.

Every other reviewer took his words as preamble and started marketing the film with the tag misogynistic. Thats what he meant by adjectives. Of course he went overboard triggering reviewers like you but he should've presented his view in a softer lens but if you look at the backlash Kabir singh got, compared to Arjun reddy you'd understand who were responsible for it.

Completely agree with Barbell's take. Important analogy for them being product makers and us being customers. Manufacturers and patent holders cannot cry that they put money time and hardwork into a product that customers dont like. The customer is fair in criticising the product and product maker, the producer criticising customers who leave reviews is a very weak move imo.
I agree with you, Sandeep doesn’t take criticism very well, he expects everyone to see his movie through his perspective. IMO, his ideology is flawed and is reflected in his work. My main problem with his work is glorifying toxic characters. He tries to make some scenes unnecessarily intense. That being said, I also agree that his skills are top notch and he brings the best out of the actors.

Reviews kills a movie because review actually stop a person from actually going to a theatre.. If people give negative review on first day itself obviously no one's filling up theatre. Film reviewer has a role and he needs to abide by it. Just type in Google how do you become a film reviewer then u ll actually understand 95% of reviewers and critics are actually crap. i agree that reviewers affect the movie ratings and acceptance by consumers to a certain extent but I don't think barbell neglected that either whereas for the point that 'is it justifiable to judge a movie based on spending just 3 hrs in a theatre for the ratio of all the efforts put forth by the movie crew and technicians?' yes i think it is and it should be normalized to judge the movie in such manner ultimately the movie is made to satisfy the consumers whether it might be for a specific set of audience or entire audience at large even a simplest of the products such as tissue papers are marketed and sold to attain profits similar to the manners as done to a movie moreover when product is not demonstrating promised results or if it's damaged we have a right to seek legal remedy here in the entertainment industry such things don't exist as it comes under an artistic work. A director takes atleast 4 years to make a film from the conception of the script it selves. Whereas a reviewer takes 3 hours of his time to form an opinion. I understand why he did not like the reviews because they are not talking about technical aspects rather questioning him as to why he is bringing such subjects in open. I believe as RGV said everyone has to able to speak and utilize their freedom of expression and delve on these kind of subjects.
