This video is about to show a problem with Sensodrive gearbox on Citroen C3 2003. The problem is when the car is at normal operational temperature sometimes the gear cannot engage. It is shown on video that even if there is GEAR 1 when I press the acceleration pedal nothing happens. The error from Lexia is something like overheating protection activated. Disconnecting the battery is not helping. The problem solved by replacing the clutch actuator.
this thing just happen to me yesterday..while im driving about 15 km/h ..suddenly the c3 cut off the gear to neutral..i try to change the gear..it cant..i just off the engine and pull out the key..and start it back..thank god it works and doesnt have problem anymore..but im not sure if this thing gonna happen to me back
My car starts fine, i have a Citroen C3 Sensodrive. But when i try get the reverse gear or 1st gear on by using the gear lever i get this problem. But if i use the paddles on the steering wheel i get in the 1st gear without any problem and the car works fine. Can't get a hold on whats causing this, any ideas? It's kinda anoying since i can't get the reverse gear by using the paddles so i really need a fix on it.
Hi, I have the same issue C3 SensoDrive 2005, where is the problem and how to solve. a service to clean said first acuatorul or change it! At another service they told me to change the clutch !!! What to do !!!
I had this same problem today as I stopped at traffic lights. It started flashing the auto- and the snowflake symbol, I couldn't change gears or disable auto-mode, and even though it was on 1 and I tried to accelerate, nothing happened and suddenly I hear a bang and it moves like a rocket. I got to the nearby bus stop, and in a couple of minutes the problem had gone :/
C'est l'actionneur d'embrayage qui est usé, avec la température il prend du jeu ce qui exerce une contrainte détectée par le calculateur qui met le système en sécurité en bloquant le fonctionnement de la pièce. Comptez 250 euros la pièce + 2h - 3h de démontage / remontage (3 vis) ou environ 800 euros si vous le faites chez CITROEN

I had the same problem my self, it helped to disconnect the battery, but will I need to do anything else or is it good now? This happened at the high way, and I am so scared that it is going to happen again....
Bonjour je reviens vers vous aujourd'hui au garage il a tué ma voiture il m'a dit l'embrayage est mort du coup il m'a demandé 2000€ pour le changer pour une voiture de 2003 et en plus moi je l'ai ramené en bon état
