Wonderful history video of this beautiful place. I feel fortunate to have visited Sensoji when I was in Tokyo years ago. It’s so often in pictures and videos of Tokyo, that my memories of it remain quite vivid.

You did a very good job putting this together. A very good classic documentary style. Thanks a lot for your hard-work putting it together. I'm trying to do something similar with temple around where I live. Does the original statue found in the river still exist? Does anyone know where it came from?

It still exists and is enshrined as the hidden Buddha to this day, and it's not visible to the public. However, the exact origins of the statue remain shrouded in mystery.
