Only what's come to me naturally, which actually a pretty good amount. I am moving to Japan early next year, so maybe I should start before I get there.

Try downloading the new version on the GitHub maybe it will work there

the subtitle has to be the same name as the video file.

I downloaded the Subtitles from Japanese Nextflix using a VPN and the chrome addon Subadub, and I download the show from Animeout.xzy or sites.google.com/view/anime-raws-list

Manual sentence mining will always be better than Morphman, and voracious is a great tool to do that quickly and efficiently. However setting up morphman to do Deep Dives on shows is also a good way to sentence mine I have a video about this titled setting up your first deep dive. Using Morphman as MIA and I have described it in the past basically just makes a big sentence bank with very little context and that isn't great. It's best to learn words as you are watching a single episode and the only way to do that is manually mine or set up a deep dive with Morphman.

@@ohtalkwho9816 Man I can't thank you enough. I was just lost going through pre-made Death note and Aggretsuko decks with morphman not really knowing when to stop. Deep Diving actually allow me to set up goals! Just a quick question. I always thought the readability analyzer was just a tool to test how much you could understand something. But, from what I understand, it actually reschedules cards to show you the morphs from your study plan first, is that right?

@@eldeahi7156 that is exactly right. The readability analyzer will output several files, including a frequency list and a study plan. Morphman man will then do it's best to find i+1/1t cards based on that study plan. That's also why it's important to not name your frequency list (Netflix or other) frequency.txt name it something else. That was why the readability analyzer was created.

voracious is very limited in what sort of files it can play since it is node based it seems. potplayer has a nice subtitle viewer if you are interested in supporting your collection 100% some more info here (www.reddit.com/r/ajatt/comments/genssr/voracious_media_player_except_it_supports_more/)

Unfortunately this seems to be one of the downsides for Voracious. The MKV file issue is something that's pretty known, but I hadn't seen anyone have an issue with audio selection. I don't believe that default is English, instead I just think it selects whatever audio is first on the audio list. I guess I always just download raw anime so that helps. Maybe try downloading from sites.google.com/view/anime-raws-list

OhTalkWho オタク Thanks a lot for the link and the answer! What I mean with the English audio is that, with dual audio files that default to English (as you said first on the list) it doesn’t seem to let you select between the two audio files like VLC does. Maybe I’ll just have to see how Voracious gets updated later on.

Does potplayer have Anki connect support like voracious? If so that would also be a really cool tool.

@@ohtalkwho9816 unfortunately no. i only use it to have a subtitle window that i don't look at unless i want to check what i heard. currently transcoding my immersion anime to work with voracious after watching your video, it's much easier to mine this way.

MIA dictionary uses the same ones as yomichan does. Search for yomichan monolingual Japanese dictionaries online.

There are lots of places you can go to download anime, one of the places I like is Animeout.xyz

I have never seen that issue be fore sorry, usually if subs are off in Voracious, they are off everywhere else too (VLC, etc)

@@Edgaratc No, I even had problems with audio channels. When loading a .mkv with multiple languages, I couldn't change the audio. I even sent a mail to the devs but it seems they abandoned the project. Currently I'm using MPV + textractor.

@@ohtalkwho9816 For some reason setting it up to where the selected word goes to a field fixed it for me. Edit: It was actually just pressing the save button that fixed it it looks like

@Chris67 I did that already. What's bizarre is that it works on Prime Video, but not on Netflix.

Use TorGuard streaming bundle. Guaranteed to work sine if your ip get's blacklisted they just give you a new one.

Ragael Doe. You coud try NordVPN (I think that was the good one for netflix) for a month, then download all you want with Flixgrab and subadub, then just ask for you money back (no questions asked apparently). I've tried softether before but it got my netflix account locked many times.

@Chris67 It's quite a pretty negligible account. I think around US$60 a year.
