Depends on what the org is gonna do, sadly for sports and competition in general, they wont remember the losers, only the winners take it all. And considering its a expensive venture that only comes to fruition if they win the tournament for ascension... yeah, hard to determine now if the org is gonna survive. Gotta wait for the partner program (academy teams) and maybe some teams might develop relationships with existing t2 teams instead of forming their own

I don't think M80 are going to compete in challengers for the next season, which is gonna be detrimental for the NA Tier 2 scene. They have been one of the few top orgs really investing in the Tier 2 scene. I think now, a lot of orgs are just gonna wait till a team wins ascension and then drop the bag on them to rake in that VCT money. Its a joke really.
You cant exaclty do that, maybe poach a roster right before ascension but definitely cant do sk for the winners unless they happen to be orgless and your org has the greatest bags to give
@@343JustMe yeah I meant most orgs won't sign teams, which would mean a good few teams are gonna be F/A like Turtle Troops, can see a good few teams like that next season, where depending on their performance an org such as DZ, Faze or Flyquest pick them up mid season or they wait till they make it to VCT
@@superearth5256 I don't think pointing at Furia or MIBR is fair. Those orgs don't have the talent pool that the NA teams do. Sure they can try building international rosters, but from the past it doesn't work. If 2G hadn't won ascension maybe one of Furia or MIBR could have signed them.
A little of a correction, you said in the video that 2g "lost 2 games and win 3 games" ; They actually just won 2 games (against Reta ; which was the first map of the entire tournament to be played and they dismantled Reta 13-2. And TSM ; that everybody but Galorys win against, sad fact) The fact that they were on a 2-3 Score meant that the last game that was played ON GROUP STAGE - AK vs TSM was important for 2g to qualify to playoffs. Had TSM won the game (which they came close to as they pushed the last map of the series to OT) they should have qualified as 4th seed. Regardless, 2g win against M80 is not a fluke, considering they had to beat them twice, first convincing 2-0, and then on grand finals 3-2. IF m80 came from the upper bracket then im sure m80 would have won the entire tournament as they have a deeper map pool considering the rest of the teams in contention, sadly, because they came from lowers, the map veto really played against themselves (they couldnt ban their perma - Bind, the same map 2g started the tournament winning and ended it taking the W, poetically you could say) Dunno if this result its gonna be healthy for the NA Scene (as a region) considering BR hasnt done shit in ages (except Loud) there is talent that its gonna be scattered through 4 different teams (considering the identity of Loud - Mibr - Furia - and now 2g). All depends on what m80 and what the rest of ascension is gonna do (if they disband or split the core, then some talent could go to other Na t1 teams)
The entirety of T2 is kinda rough right now, these teams are investing alot for so little gain. It has to be damaging to the esports scene with these orgs losing money like that, many of them are just gonna drop investments and abandon the idea. There needs to be more tournries with some type of money incentive even if its just a little. Riot can't be short on money at all making millions up on millions for bundles. Even T1, there should be more tournaments happening. Whether it be friendly match ups, hosted cups, or bouts. Something more.

I don't think M80 runs it back.. IT costs a lot of money to keep these teams running. And after losing like that twice now. It might just be that they disband the org from Valorant. Which a lot of teams are doing because of the shit way its setup. But M80 is a insane team. Was rooting for them since Ghost. A lot of Tier 1 teams always scrim them as well. The only way I see M80 maybe trying it again is if they rebuild around some players.. Not sure which ones will get poached from a team.. But its likely a few of them will..
Also AK choked against them. They were destroying them 2-0 in maps easily. Ak was probably the best team but they choked like 7 maps throughout the tournament.
If anything this year showed how solid the m80 players are considering they had a bad start to the season and had to make a roster change and switch IGLs. Reaching top 2 is massive.
M80 on Bind was horrible, thats the worst team I've ever seen on Bind. You can tell they don't practice on that map much because they had no strats or anything for that map.
Firepower wise bang would be a better pickup then zander if you want a like for like with tenz. Plus they’ll have an actual viper player now and zellsis can flex more
How about the team that gets places 2nd in Ascension, just gets a free slot in Ascension for Next Year? How does that sound? It would prevent these great orgs from dismantling and leaving the scene. The way Riot has handled the Tier 2 scene, there is absolutely no incentive to even stay, cause more than likely you are going to bleed money like crazy with no result whatsoever
they'll do that for next year's ascension. if both teams from ascension in franchise league didn't get any result and got 8th-12th placement, both ascended teams from franchise will fall back to ascension, meaning 2 grand finalist on that year's ascension will ascend to franchise. but if those ascended teams want to stay for another year, they'll have to try for champs or get top 4 in their respective league(riot don't count masters for ascended teams to stay in the league) or placed 5th-8th in the league. But, they'll have to fight the ascension winners team(if both ascended teams place 5th-8th, both grand finalist in that year's ascension will fight both ascended teams).

man heartbreak legit felt so bad wakin gup to this result and the same for rare atom man if C9 are losing oxy some team at that point just blow up the roster and pick up the entire m80 roster would look much better still so sad for the org and players alike
Riot is a fucking joke, watching all these acsension games, most notably in both the BO5's, as soon as M80 would build momentum there would be a tech pause always, not to mention the crowd placement was horrific, i hope M80 drops out and lets this T2 scene go to scrambles, then scoop up who ever wins. I think the whole system is dumb anyways, like why have T1/T2, look at CS they make all teams qual and there scene has so many more teams and more games because of it. With riots idea now that some cinderalla 2game team fluks out 3 match wins they are in tier 1, they will be so trash mark my words, atleast MIBR will have some comepetition for the bottom now, its a joke

Zander is not joining Sen . Valyn and rob Moore has confirmed sen has already got their roster during Zander is in ascension with their two players and they will announce it soon. it’s literally impossible for sen Zander to be happening rn
