Sarebbe bello poterlo ascoltare nell 'opera intera.💥🌹🎶❤
Great registration: flawless passaggio and full covered chest. The only moment when he goes towards head voice is in the last syllable of "martiro" when the falsetto pull makes him go more towards a logical "oo" vowel sound. A voice for the theatre full of expression and commitment. I wonder if his delivery and emote skills are correct according to the wannabe's taste though... 😂😂😂
O inferno!
I love Corelli, but without a doubt my favourite in this role is Martinelli. And there is no better Simon Boccanegra than Tibbett/Pinza/Rethberg/Martinelli/Warren/Panizza
The Simon Boccanegra recording with Lawrence Tibbett, Ezio Pinza, Leonard Warren, Louis D'Angelo, Giovanni Martinelli, and Elisabeth Rethberg is a must-own for life, for the duration, and forever and always! Everybody wins in their respective roles.
