Baloyi is confused. He is just fighting for the sake of it. He is not re examining. He is leading the witness on things he can't even explain, which defence did not even get into in x examination. The contents can be explained by the dentist. The only thing mogane can testify on is the date and time cz he is the one that took the accused there on that date. Mogane is not the dentist that wrote the content. Now defence will have to cross examine again and mogane has to answer to the contents he does not even understand cz baloyi led the evidence. Ratha will get angry again tomorrow 🙄
Yes I do. The contents were not discussed in cross examination. They only focused on the date on the doc. But baloyi made mogane read the contents of the document. It's not fair to mogane cz he can't explain it. The contents didn't come up in x. But baloyi is adressing it in re exam
A lot of young graduates have no work because Ratha who is over 65 is still arguing with kids who are almost his grandchildren. This grandfather should be enjoying playing in the garden with his grandchildren.
The reason i watch this court case is becoz i want to see justice for Senzo meyiwa being served however i find myself hurting my feelings listening to this case everyday
I don't want to lie. This Judge ontlatsa pinya always. He doesn't conduct these proceedings without a fear or favor. He always comes harsh to the defense but to state he will agree with what Baloyi would says osoka abua le ho bua. I hate that man cos he is not fair but he knows the reasons why😢

I'm not a lawyer but these defense team is out to prove that all the accused are innocent and the state has somehow cooked the accusation against these people. This case is troubling indeed and seems to be going nowhere.

The problem with this judge is that he interjects Defense, before they finish speaking he interjects how stupid it is not to listen first. At the end he says ok ok go ahead
We all have different opinions regarding this matter, yet seems like Ratha, whenever the defence have new evidence he allows it, including the medical report which both the state and defence agreed on which contents they should argue, but Baloyi played him so the entire document should be shown to the court. Such tactics are not fair as the state never argues nothing because Baloyi always having a spokesperson,our Judge. Perhaps such behaviour and tactics are what assists the state. Yet the elephant in the room that almost everybody is scared to raise is that, Judge Ratha is biased,and he should recuse himself based on his behaviour. The public see what he does, and how he exposed himself. In my conclusion,this is not a fair trial 😒😒

The judge is so exasperating and it really is a shame. He has no regard for the defense counsel, always interrupting them, never give them a chance to speak in completion, because he is "irritated" by them. Baloyi, on the other hand, is treated with such respect by this judge and he is uninterruptedly allowed to state his case and he is not one of the fastest talking people out there. The judge is rushing the defense and he has displayed emotional involvement in this trial, which is unbecoming of a presiding officer. It is coming across as if the accused persons have committed a crime against this judge or a relative of his, got away with it, and he is now out to nail them by way of revenge. Based on the aforementioned and other instances of clear bias, I therefore submit that this judge needs to recuse himself.
How is it correct/lawful to read out to the public the medical report. Of an individual? currently the former president is fighting in court that his medical report was publicized . Arrests within a trial is LOADING.

How come a dentist report be taken as evidence 😮Did the dentist made a full assessment on the accused 😢 or that was a questionare you fill when visiting a health care facility 😢Dentist or physician is supposed to give an assessment 🤔

The defence opened the door for the prosecution to enter. The defence cannot un-open it. The defence went as far as saying that the report does not conclude that the accused had a gold tooth!
Stupid question again how come the suspect report the assault when he realized that everyone was working together to bring him down the police, the judge , and everyone who was involved was making him feel defeated and powerless 😢
Why is the defense worried about this report? This is just a dental examination and not a FULL BODY EXAMINATION. Also,a dentist does not have an MBChB…he is not a medical doctor but a dentist.
This witness police officer is be able to give evidence or be a witness about examination that was done by the dentist! But when asked questions about his other officers evidence he says he can't answer for them they can be called in to answer for themselves. And this judge allows this!? Always allowing the state to introduce new evidence and doesn't give them enough time to read and prepare for cross examination.
This judge is too emotionally involved & gets easily offended when he is supposed to be impartial. He clearly doesn’t like Mshololo . A white judge should take over this case. Let this judge go back into retirement
The best Judge ever, big up to king of the room, too much time wasted in this case ( 9 years fully), however this Unisa lawers trying to confuse the court with illegal statements and incorrect law interpretation.
