This song reminds me greatly when I was a refugee in Ghana(Buduburam Refugee Camp), my late cousin always use to play Senzo musics to help revive our struggles as refugees
continue resting in Peace Dad😰.Who's Gonna Care for Us in your absence...This song has just reminded Me.2024 still listening to it.Wanaree tukianguka nayo.
I HONOUR Reggae music people because they teach, they speak and unite people, they comfort for the people, they talk the truth, they give us hope in this corrupt world, they remind us that there is God/Allah and they have never seller out and they are peaceful people to talk with. Your are our true HEROES.
Dad used to play this song 🎵 before he passed in May, 2004. It played on a bus in April 2022 on a long long journey to Mumbwa- Zambia, kinda brightened my dark days though after coming back I went home with more sorrow🥲 I keep coming here to feel better. R.I.P Dad 🙏
Condolences there. I also heard this song for the first time on a long trip from Lusaka to Kasama in 2007, the Bus Driver played the entire album twice over, the entire album is phenomenal and gives you nostalgia to that particular song.

He really shook the world with his songs, music of all generations, they remind me of so many things, the way I used to play, the place where I heard them, the occasion, the friends also reggae lovers..
Here's the Lyrics as I understood it: Tell I now where do we go from here As the country seem to be falling apart I wanna know before it's too late isn't it that we go to that sorrow one more time? cuz these crazy leaders in whom we have trusted too much have turned against each other striving for leadership who's gonna care for you and I just tell me now if there's someone you know just tell me if you know someone to care for us till we're all on our own (x2) See them shaking hands everyday pretending to have forgiving each other in their eyes there's still war in their eyes i see grudges when the other one preaches peace the other on preaches hatred when the other one preaches love the other one preaches violence Who's gonna care for you and I just lemme know if there's someone you know just tell me if you know someone to care for us till we're all on our own(x2) Who's gonna care for you and I just lemme know if there's someone you know I wanna know I wanna know now... just let me know my friend now...
