I sympathise with seok kyung cause she just felt like everyone was leaving her or betraying her that's why she went to the only person who could help her and that was joo dan tae I hope she finds a person who will stay by her side no matter what in the future
Sadly Dan Tae is the only one able to make her feel like she is needed and cared for. Even after everything he did to her, she still feels drawn to him because he shows his obsession for his children by possession, as if they were tools for his plans (and Seok Kyung is right now falling for this)
Hope she finds person who can heal her, maybe when she enters uni she will start new life. Idk why but i can't hate her, i still want happy ending for her. Only thing she wants is to be loved. Her father was abusing her and mom had no idea, she never cared, brother was always on her side but the moment he liked someone he didn't care about her. He abandoned her during exams time, he knew what was gonna happen but still left her alone and this slap was the end of everything. I don't think they can ever be as before.
Yes, u know, this moment with exams when he abandoned sis and said to her it was wrong to get dad's help but helped Ro Na when she did not want... Seok Hoon has not changed, he just found new 'Seok Kyung'. Maybe after Ro Na he will find a new girl.
Seokhoon never abandoned her. Not once. He was there when she needed him. Rona is someone who makes him genuinely happy. They is no reason for him to not be with her. Seokkyung has a superiority complex, she wants everything to herself. Even if that means crampling others. The twins were brought up by the same parents in the same way, seokkyung chose to be an ungrateful brat. Her father abused her and her twin brother for years but she still wants to go back to him? Seokhoon will never leave her side but she needs to be held accountable for her actions and be punishable for it. She can't live like this forever
@@gargisomani2040 Seokhoon should also hold accountable for his past actions. He was still a bully and just because he met Rona and became a better man doesn't mean he gets a pass for hurting other people in the past. Remember, he punched students in the boxing rink and bullied them at school. He didn't even apologized to them. Also he knew first hand how their father (Physical and Mental Abuse) and mother (Neglect/Abandonment) treated them, so he should have known how Seokkyung will be affected by his actions towards her. She trusted him to be there for her, but when he realized how wrong he was, he turned his back from her. The support that people say that Seokhoon gave her are bullsh*t. He helped her bully and cheat, rather than stirring her to the right direction from the very start. Love really makes a man stupid and blind in this case.
@@Xai_lyn I ddo agree that Seokhoon should be held accountable for this past actions. Seokkyung is very stubborn as we all know, maybe SH thought that her cheating and bullying would be a coping mechanism for her for all her abuse. SH took their father's beating instead of her, band has always been by her side. Seokkyung was the one who was jealous because now her brother had another person to take care of. Seokhoon was and is a good brother but seokkyung wasn't. Even after Rona's 'death' , when he was upset, instead of consoling him, she mocked him saying he was being overdramatic and she was the one who provoked EunByeol. She knew damn well that SH liked rona. She has also defended SH many times, that's true. But seokkyung being expelled was 100% deserves I feel. Her actions have been ignored way too long.
Oh come on idk what show you are watching poor guy is always with seok kyung he never abandoned her also he's the same age as her he also lived a shitty life seok kyung was tge one who told him to flirt with her or she will commit sucide and the moment he started liking rona seok kyung started thinkingvthat he's abandoning her also tge thing i HATE about seok kyung is that she NEVER looks back af her own actions she bullies everybody makes fun of everyone and nevervwants anybody to question her actions when seok hoon started questioning her anger and bullying she started believing that he's is abandoning her i think because of her dad and su rhyeon she has developed this fear of abandonment hopefully she will get better in s3 but please don't blame seok hoon for seok kyung's actions he didn't do wrong
joo seokyung is a victim of abuse, i dont know why people are so quick to label her as the bratty bully who has everything. Her mom was most of the time by her “biolagical” daughters side mourning, her father is not even her real father who uses her for property and money and if she is useless he abuses her for his own satisfaction. She didnt see unconditional love from both of her parents thats why she is acting jealous she was never the first choice nor the main focus in the family. she covers her broken heart with strong rich girl facade but she is one of the most broken charcters in the show and whats sad is not even suryeon sees this. her daughter was abused for years she couldnt get her own mothers full attention even which suryeon wasnt aware of the violance she was facing from jdt. It is only fair that as a teenage girl who is an abuse survivor she wanted her mom for herself for the first time. she just wants to be someones first choice but no one gives her this opportunity. no one tries to heal her wounds, she as a kid is abused from what was mentioned she commited suicide but no one literally no one is trying to heal her.
Everyone who can understand people knew the meaning of pitying someone else. Some says we justified her,but no,we were saying fact. It wasn't wrong to support her. I mean, Seok Kyung deserve more love. Love. That's all that she wants. Those who says we justified her are just Wrong, we're not justifying her,but were pitying her. Can they just think,if you're abuse, mom doesn't know about it,lose the brother who use to defend you and protect you from anything. Losing your loved one hurts. And that hurt and wound, needs love to be healed. The wound had cut so deep that she needs more love. She wasn't craving for love, she needs it. Not all villain are bad, they're just misunderstood. Seok Kyung mindset was abiut being feared and looked up. See all the people she bullied, they're the people who indeed giving her inferiority complex. She used to be feared but someone who doesn't scared of her, need to get rid of. That was where she's wrong.
I'm waiting to see what will be the end with the twins and tbh idc about others....I'm watching penthouse just because of the twins and making myself suffer..
yes seokyung has been abused but she's so arrogant and trauma is not an excuse to bully rona has not done anything to her in the first place.. hope seokyung realizes her wrongdoings and change to a better person
It's sad that most people think Rona is the only victim (besides seol ah). Well yes she is a victim, but Seok Kyung is too. She have always been a victim of Joo Dan Tae.
im not sure if your familiar with degrassi (a Canadian show), there is a pair of twins in there too, started out very similar to seok kyung and soek hoon. there was no abuse in the drama, but they moved around so many times when they were young and all they had was each other. they were co-dependant like SK and SH, and when the brother got a gf, everything changed, and suddenly the sister being clingy and "crazy" in his eyes. why do the writers always make the girls seem crazy.... and have this theme of "all we had was each other but I cant be your all" now that I have a gf.... forever is such a pretty term until time break everything apart. I'm sure SK was there for SH when he needed her, how is it all of a sudden a girl comes into your life and 18+ years of trust and commitment breaks apart. sorry this is such a long comment, but its disgusting how SH is treating this entire situation... its like saying "ill always be there for you, except when I find a gf... then your on your own, bye"
I am not, I do know what show is that but I haven't watched it. You're right, it's a common plot line the sister that refuses to share her brother with another girl. I'm trying to understand Seok Hoon cause I do know he doesn't want to abandon her, but the slap really sent everything downhill. It was the worst thing he could've done. From my experience in life there is no always. As you said they were co-dependant, but then Seok Hoon met Rona and he started to change. The problem is Seok Kyung cannot understand the situation, twins may always remain family but her process thinking of Seok Hoon will do the same I do, we will never get separated doesn't exist after a certain age. She cannot expect him to live with her forever, of course she's clingy because she doesn't have anyone else that always protected her like him. When he goes to Rona, she tends to punish both of them by running to her father, and deep down I know she also goes back to Dan Tae because Seok Hoon would get mad and shower her with attention. I think she cannot escape this toxic process of thinking.
@@9448y4uy782374 I really like your perspective of her going to JDT because it would capture SH's attention, I never thought about it that way. I initially thought that she wanted JDT to get rid of others around SH, so SH would only have her around again. I think you phrase it extremely well that always doesn't exist ager a certain age, because unless they are going down incest route, they are each bound to find someone else. I hope they mend the situation throughout the season, and the rumour that SH is going to die wont be true. If your ever interested in the degrassi twins, fiona and declan are a psychological phenomenon to look at as well. I couldn't help compare the two because the plot line was so familiar.
Me neither actually, you had me thinking a lot. I'm not sure if she does it willingly or not. Probably willingly because the way she sees her life since she was a child, is with Seok Hoon. I cannot blame her for feeling safe with the only person that defended her. Remember when she used to manipulate him by threatening she would kill herself? That's a typical trait of someone that will do anything to keep her brother at her side. She's getting rid of Rona because since S1 she sees her as an obstacle to her brother caring for her. There's also a deleted scene from S1 where she throws away the gift Rona gave to him, saying in a very obsessive way "you better be careful of not exaggerating with rona" it was scary.
@@9448y4uy782374 can't blame SK as she built her happiness on her co dependency with SH. I think co-dependency is something that can't even be explained. I wouldn't even be surprised if SK reaches her breaking point that she wants to destroy SH so no one can have him. Also, another reason you cannot blame SK is bc SH put her on a pedestal (an abnormal doting pedestal for siblings) for her entire life, any person who has become used to this way of life will feel threatened if the way of living has changed. Of course this is a drama, and we only see scenes of what happened, and no one know how much time and effort SH spends on SK behind the scenes trying to comfort her/explain everything. But from how much secrets SH has kept from her before regarding his theories on SSR's death and their father's involvement, I highly doubt he's doing much. Besides the slap scene ( which I fully agree with you that its unforgivable), I think to me the applications to juliard hurts more. Shes kept out of the dark from everything. I think even in a normal good sibling relationship, its easily discussable on which colleges to apply to, or where they plan to go in the future. I'm sure I can just blame the writer's terrible plot idea on this, but SH's actions was despicable in this. You cant even mention to your twin that you have loved and doted on all these years, that you plan on making this huge decision? Its as if he couldn't want to jump on a plane with the new love of his life and ditch the life he had in korea (SK and her drama included). i haven't taken the time to say how well made your videos have been, thank you for them!!
I do think they're ending will be something like that. She might really try to dispose of him...but I rather think she will be the one to die. On the keeping secrets I'm agreeing with you. He kept too many things a mystery. I cannot tell if it's because he never trusted her because of her closeness to their dad or because he wants to protect her from the wrong things like harsh truths. Although I can understand why he kept all those things a secret, I'm not ok with this particular one of going to the US without telling anyone. OK he has his secrets with Rona and that's fine, but at least he could've told beforehand and explain why he would make that choice; if he cares that much about SR and SK that much should've been said. But maybe he was still trying to make Rona change idea. Thanks a lot for the compliment! I will keep working hard 💖
tbh!! you can hate me for this idgaf!!....but i literally hate rona's character like she's just there to enhance the bad qualities of the other characters and make herself look like oh!! i'm the most sane person here like wtf!!..how can you ship hoon and ro na and seok hoon literally changed alot for that stupid crying lousy like ewww!!...i don't like her at all i wish seok kyung and her dad get rid of that girl as quickly as possible......
people say that what she did was wrong and it was wrong for her to chose her dad but her mum abandoned her for her bio daughter then did it again for another girl (kinda) then her brother is abandoning her to go with his gf to the states when seokkyung wanted to go with him first, its hardly fair, the only person who has never betrayed her trust or abandoned her is her dad,yes he is abusive, but he didnt give her false hope the leave ,he gave what he gave and stayed, that is enough for her,she just wants to feel loved and to not be abandoned, idk why her family finds it so hard to understand that
