Thanks LightWalker! The valley definitely reminded of us the Whites. Unfortunately it’s a National Park so you are not allowed to go off trail but there are many other swimming holes in Korea that you can take advantage of!

Just found your channel when I searched for videos for Daecheongbong Peak! My husband and I are visiting South Korea in June of this year and are planning to hike Daecheongbong Peak (as a day trip from Seoul most likely, long day I know!). How did you get a taxi from one end to the other? Did you book something in advance? Thanks! PS - I subbed because I see you're into long distance backpacking too :)
Hi! So sorry we’ve been on a hiatus and haven’t seen this! I hope your trip went well! We walked all the way back to our hostel after the hike so we only used a taxi to get to the trailhead!
