Have you ever bought an iClone prop or imported a model into iClone that should have moving parts but everything is welded together into one part? Here is how to separate the parts into separate sub-props using nothing but Character Creator 4.

Nice!!!! That's very helpful. I was so much struggling with fbx imports i could not separate.

If you noted that the shear parts look a little weird after separation, it is because many of the edges were originally marked as Sharp, but this information got destroyed in the process, so technically we *do* need to separate this particular item in Blender to do a proper job of it. However, most of the time this process will work fine for you. Leave it to me to pick the worst example.
