Another awesome guide! People always want to know "who's better?", but Yii explains why that's the wrong question. We should be asking "what unique perks does each operator have, and which niche do the excel in?". Platiplat best sniper btw.

Another thing about Ash is that she doesn't stun everything in her range or anything that comes into her range after her skill is used. So she's excellent at taking out a single target or a tightly clustered group of targets, while exu can mow down a whole wave of enemies that are trickling in. Ash also can totally wiff her stun grenade due to targeting woes. They also want to be enhanced in somewhat different ways. Ash most easily synergizes with someone with a stun so she can extend her bonus to the full skill duration. Whereas Exu wants atk boosters and def shredders more (not that ash would say no to those either). Ash has also the big strength/weakness that her skill is a lot shorter overall. Great for blasting one enemy away instantly. Much worse for dealing with multiple enemies coming in over time, much better again at dealing with enemies showing up in moderate intervals so she can have her skill up in time between them.

-trio 6* anti air sniper just like trio baharia apex dinosaur. -Exusiai : spinosaurus (the biggest and has giant claws, but because of the shape of his jaw he can't kill big/armored dinosaurs only fish and small dinosaurs) -Ash : carcharodontosaurus (strong and has a high bite force to kill large dinosaurs) -Archetto : bahariasaurus (bespite its length, it is relatively light and fast compared to other big theropods) -they are all in the same habitat and time period but they can coexist together because they have different niche.

Ash ironically synergizes well with W. If Ash's S2 and W's S3 are procced at the same time, W's bombs will dotonate as soon as Ash's flashbang stun ends thereby allowing Ash to maximize her stun bonus. As W's trait insult provides bonus damage to stunned enemies.

Mate, your analysis is incomplete. It should’ve been Exu vs Ash vs Archetto vs Rangers. Rangers niche is “tryhard clears” and he outperforms all the other 3 in that niche, actually nvm outperform the other 3 are outright unusable.

Note on Ash S2: Time Ws S3 (or S1) to Ash's S2 stun, or drop Red, and you do get the full damage from Ashs S2 quite nicely. Very handy this CC.

Something useful I found about Archetto is in IS she pairs quite well with items that boost attack for a second after skill activation. Since a lot of snipers have skills that boil down to "every 5 or so shots your next attack does bigger damage" (Kroos, Jessica skill 1, BP skill 1, Exia skill 1, etc) her giving passive SP means their low SP skills come up even faster and after any short periods of downtime where your archers aren't shooting, they'll have their skill ready so the next enemy to step into their line of fire takes quite a blow. It's not the most game changing thing (having fatal bolts: divine speed already makes those items quite funny) but it's a neat little piece of utility she provides

pro tip: elysium skill makes ash empty her mag before stun goes out, if you get the defense lowered by his second is another bonus

I won't comment about Ash and archetto cuz those two dodged me as if I had the plague, but i can say one thing about exu and that's she is pretty really good at crowd control since her low attack interval and high damage makes switching target after killing really fast and efficient

Ash's stun also causes those walking stone crabs from the Under Tide event to not do their explode when hurt effect, making Ash the single best Op for shutting those down completely. On that UT annihilation, Watery Tide Hollow I think?, Ash and Ifrit were the 1-2 punch who duo's the entire right half of the map. Ash's S2 was so useful that even took out that annoying ass Elite who came out at wave 384. Single handedly shut that whole lane down. So very glad I was playing during and prepared to go all in on her limited banner.

For someone like me who has all 3 at pot 1 Archetto is an Aoe Sniper in disguise Exu is a shreder againts low armor Ash is a nuker againts most armored enemies

third skill for Ash should be : Ash Mains Pride active - asp +200, 1 tap headshot (if shooting ground target, instant kill like on r6s) passive talent -small head hitbox and lean crouch spam. Ash might evade incoming arts/phys damage by 50% like in r6s. and couple month later Ash got nerfed they took my ACOG : accuracy -100, asp -50 (weapon changed to G36) lean and crouch spam nerf : ash lost her evade but keeps her smaller head hitbox which mean 25% evade chance this is might be the most accurate skill representation for Ash based on r6s

I'm new to Arknights, so there's one thing I've been wondering: If exu can delete boss with a ton of buffs, so do the other right? Yet I saw mostly "Exu + buff army", sometime other operators do appear but not as much as Exu.

To be honest you only need Exu and Ash as anti-air snipers, Archetto is really not necessary. If you need an extra longer range to hit specific farther target I'll just use Rosa or other sniper with longer range.

I know im 5 months late but i wanna say that exu is a good char in early stage and literal boss killer and for ppl that said exu s3 make her less flexible bcause is automatically activated is stupid in my eyes is so easy to predict her e3 activation if u practice the stage but i think im being biases bcause i use exu for so long that i know when to use her and i still use her even in chap 9 i only take out ash when stage really have high defense for exu but that my opinion

Ash also has more burst damage than Exu, since she unloads all her clips VERY quickly. I would even say she has the highest burst damage out of any Snipers, on most enemies, even more than brokenly OP Squirtle Chen. At the very least, she has better on-demand helidrop burst damage than Squirtle Chen.

Well you conpared ash S2 against Exu S3. But totally forgot to mention that ash can control when S2 is activated and deactivated (to start the CD faster), and Exu S3 is auto, meaning that can be activated when there is no enemies around, and when you actually need it will be on CD and dropping the bonus DPS of skill to zero.
