Faith, prayer, and the Bible are profoundly interwoven into American history, but we’ve lost the realization of just how deeply the foundations of American Christianity have shaped and established our land. Part of that problem is the notion in America that the Church and State should be separate. Now, we don’t want a State Church, but we also don’t want the government dictating how we worship, where we worship, or when we worship. On the other hand, a State devoid of the Church is a State with no conscience. So, the Church has a role to play, and God’s people have a role to play because we’re the twenty-first century edition of what God has been doing on this continent for a long, long time.
Robert Morgan’s book, “100 Bible Verses that Made America,” offers true stories from American history that show God’s faithfulness to the people who sought Him, followed Him, and changed the course of our nation. These short and powerful testimonies can help bolster your faith, inform your history, and equip you to take God’s Truth into your circumstances today.
Watch the premiere this Sunday at 3:00PM.

"Separation of church and state" is no where in the constitution. It's not in any of the founding documents. It was written by Thomas Jefferson in a private letter. And he wasn't referring to Christianity vs. other types of religions. He was referring to denominations of Christianity.

@@Snakehipsandchickenlips Yeh I know... Government won't establish at state religion... It also says it's not allowed to prohibit the free exercise of religion either. But you ain't allowed to pray in government schools. Besides, it was written by men who were all Christians to one degree or another... There were a couple deists in there... But the back drop to this was colonists having come from England which had established The Church of England and outlawed all other churches... This was why the Protestants fled England and the Irish Catholics fought constantly for their religious freedom. All European colonists were Christian of one kind or another and didn't want history repeating here. Even considering all of that... The Supreme Court ruling that established "Separation of Church and State", doesn't cite the 1st Amendment. It cites a personal letter from Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptists .

"But you ain't allowed to pray in government schools" actually you can pray in school but the school cannot require students to have a teacher lead classroom prayer @@she-wolfkira4927

@@she-wolfkira4927 there's not a single school that doesn't allow you to pray, its just not allowed to be mandated by the schools and the teachers aren't allowed to lead students in prayers. Nothing wrong with that

The founding fathers were not all Christians. In fact most were Christian Deist like myself. So incorporating religion into government was thought to be inappropriate, but using one's faith to help make decisions was okay as long as your decision was not one that imposes your religion on others. Separation of church and state was a founding principle and the concept thisbman is presenting is a newer philosophy that is blatantly wrong.
