Lore Guy personally I think the death-watch would be fine with the separatists and form an alliance with them the separatists hit the republic and death watch hate the Jedi, both sides would be happy with this. Giving Maul power perhaps enough to kill Darth sidious. if the nightsisters did get involved the republic would die for sure.
Lore Guy I would make a republic I also believe the galaxy would return to a Holy Roman Empire of sorts with sith and Jedi at the head me I would make a monarchy but have it set up like the USA and like the U.N
People keep saying Sideous would just intervene personally and fix the situation if Grievous and his generals and admirals decided to orchestrate a coup like this. I don't see how he would though. Grievous was aware of Sideous (and at least to some degree was aware of his immense power). Grievous was also notoriously paranoid and hesitant to risk putting himself into situations that could result in his own death. I think Grievous would easily predict that Sideous would attempt to come for him, and probably wouldn't stay in any one place for very long (instead likely moving around aboard a choosen flagship and sticking to space whenever possible). I also feel liek he'd have a giant escort of Magna Guards at all times, and probably travel with a fleet. If Grievous ever discovered Sideous' true identity (say from seized data previously kept by the now deceased Dooku) he would probably also sell Sideous down the river to the Jedi, just because he hated both and would be happy to see them slaughter eachother. Even if Palpatine could somehow kill find Grievous and kill him... I don't know if he would bother. Killing Grievous wouldn't fix the issue at this point. It would deprive the CIS of a great supreme commander, sure, but it wouldn't give Palpatine control of the CIS again. Someone like Trench would just take over and the CIS would still be trying to win the war. Even if Palpatine killed all the major military leaders, the CIS Parliament was an independent body and would simply select a new Head of State... who would still be trying to win the war (at the very least by gaining independence). It would take a whole lot of personal headhunting from Palpatine, and in the end would still not achieve all that much. Palpatine would have to try to end the separatist threat altogether so it couldn't endanger his Empire building, so it would be total war for both sides.
I think the Separatists would win due to sheer numbers and a higher quality of droids. Remember, the majority of the army was made up of B1's, and those could be destroyed very easily by homegrown rebels and armies, but with the stepping up of more advanced droids and more streamlined war goals, then it would be a massacre to both rebels and clones. After the war though, they'd be screwed because they destroyed much of the Republic's territories and resources in their bid to win, and the citizens would not be very happy with the new leadership. With the larger territories of the Republic and without superweapons to instill fear like the Empire did, then more guerilla style fighting would occur, even with the brutal crackdowns. It happened during the early reign in the Empire, and the Separatists wouldn't have the same 'moral high ground' that they did with HOW they won in the first place. So more funding for droids would be needed to suppress the uprisings, and this in turn would deplete the already weakened economy of the Separatists. Sooner or later, the new regime will fall, though what happens next is anyone's guess. People may go back to a Republic, but with the reason for this devastating war being the ineffectiveness of the past government, I don't see many systems wanting to go back to that.
I think we'd see a fractured galaxy for a while. Numerous small nations. Something more akin to our world. Whether or not another galactic government would rise is hard to say. It happened before with the Republic (Or twice if I involve the Russan Reformation? Is that even canon? I know very little about that) so, possibly after generations, a new galactic government comes about and takes control. And who knows? Eventually this cycle might repeat itself.
Or you get the sith or perhaps Jedi lead country’s so think Holy Roman Empire me personally I would make a simi-republic and a monarchy and now I would also make it a point to recruit people and Jedi however I would say that they would be limited in their power but fair representation and rights as everyone else
@@343gold9You know, I never thought about that, but you make a great point. Without Sidious, or any central figure really, the galaxy would eventually fracture into something resembling the Holy Roman Empire. As for myself, I would make a sort of quasi empire within the Unknown Region, like what Thrawn did, but never return to the wider galaxy. All that untapped resources with the technological sophistication of the Empire and no one looking for you? Yeah, I could expand to my heart's content and live comfortably for the rest of my life.
True and I would to but one thing you must be aware of the far out siders I would say a better system is needed and I would use a monarchy and a republic of sorts though it would be like the USA
Considering their strategy would be pouring everything into the military, burning worlds to ash, and turning this into a fight to the death, and all of this is after a coup that puts everyone under military control, I expect there to be resistance groups poping up in the CIS which will likely divert part of their new military to put down and probably start a vicious circle of increasing resistance in the face of heavy handed efforts to put them down. There was a reason Palpatine seized power gradually during the war instead of all at once, he wanted everyone eased into things so they wouldn't question it. This like the other one would be a sudden seizing of power followed by having all their stuff shoved into massive military industrial complex and likely still needing years to win the war so its more likely to piss people off.
Looking at the comic's where we see some interaction Grievous seems to treat his organic troops and comrades far better than droids even being respectful to them to a degree he told another CIS agent to flee so he could deal with the Jedi and that's after the guy had failed him.
These videos forget about sidious since he would destroy every plan and every battle plan video cuz the war is just palpatine playing barbie with a 4 armed kent and a tinny green barbie
My only interjection is the military doesn’t even need to get the council to hand over the master command. Kaylani proved in rebels that if the tactical droids feel the shutdown code could strategically harm the CIS war effort, they can override the order. All the military would need to do is get the droids commanders on board.
Querry. So there have been many considerations of timelines where something was changed and the sepratist would likely win the war because of it. But in every case I have heard, the CIS then collapses in on itself. So I am curious, is there a way the separatists could have done both? Won the war, or atleast survived it as an independent state, and remained stable following? What would need to change for this to happen?
Well, although the worlds and corporations involved already had grievances (pun intended) against the Republic, the CIS was essentially created by the Sith to serve as a threat to distract the galaxy and Jedi and as an excuse to start a war so terrible, people were willing to accept a tyrannical Empire just because it brought peace. Given that the strategy in this video would lead to Palpatine no longer controlling the CIS, this might honestly be the closest they can get to having a chance of winning the war. Or better yet, if the Parliament managed to negotiate peace with the Republic. Which they attempted multiple times, but of course the Sith actively sabotaged that.
Sidious would not like that one bit at all. Without Dooku and the Separatist council, and with Grievious going rogue he has no control over the Separatists. Meaning he can't orchestrate the war to mould the galaxy into the way he wants it to be.
It would have been an aboustlete loopsided victory, septratist held space supperiority and Grevious tactical skills with army units meant that the droid army wasnt just cannon fodder but a formidable foe to the clones not equally good but alot more deadly to the clones and if we go with legends timeline its even more likely that the droid army would win, not mention all their superweapons that papaltine hid and denanded not used so it wouldnt wipe out republic forces
There are probably more sounded minded military leaders & Trench is not a Complete fool, so he is likely to listen to certain other military advisors to make plans that work. A good number of these advisors could point out the necessity of logistics & therefore adopt a strategy similar to the Pacific Strategy of the Second World War on earth; grabbing key planets along hyperlanes, fortify, & gather more resources before moving on. Granted, it might be slower than what Grievous wanted, but its actually going faster & further than what happened previously & such. Thus, by the Fourth year, or so, Kuat, Corellia, & other important worlds would’ve been conquered & Coruscant would be Sacked for the Last Time.
Personally I think separatists would have won they had gifted and experienced military tactician, numbers, no political oversight, and more b2 and commando droids would have made. But it's hard how the universe would be if they won. Are there any balanced empires in Star Wars? What if the Jedi took over the republic a little into the clone wars? What if Ventress joined the Maul after she was betrayed by Dooku? What if Oola wasn't killed or even escaped?
Hi, Could you do a video comparing which faction has the best economy? Specially republic and separatists during the clones wars, and, which faction had the biggest navy at the time of clones wars?
why wouldn't they just take money from the worlds they conquered as well as the world that the Separatist own as well to me they would have more then enough money to keep up their military might
As someone with an economic background. An army is expensive IF it has human components and/or non-automated logistics. Droid miners, sending resources to Droid manufacturers with Droid put on Droid ships and commanded by Droid s is essentially a post scarcity society. Money has no value as no pieces in that chain require payment. This massive military is actually financially viable more than the current US military as all pieces are either coerced and repayed in non capital ways, or are Droids themselves and thus demand no costs.
This is assuming the Republic and Jedi don't wise up and attempt to assassinate these military commanders, much as they tried with Dooku in both Legends and Canon. Once commanders such as Trench and Grievous are gone, the whole autocracy may soon cave into bloody infighting.
I think your overlooking Palps in this scenario. He has so much information on the CIS, if this happened he would just use it. Hyper space lanes, droid factory locations, various commands, all he needs to do is pass this on to Anakin and the Republic can stomp the CIS
