I liked tifa's voice the best. I liked that it was kind of juvenile sounding compared to the new voice.

@@actual_doge3221 Yeah. Everyone I see people are missing mostly Sephiroth, Zack and Cloud. But I think the others were great as well. Most people shit on AC Aerith and I kinda agree since she was bad but in the original Crisis Core on the psp, Aerith had a new voice and that one was the best imo.

This should be on the Switch as well.

I wouldn’t say the title is inaccurate though. You can still do the original story in Dissidia 012

You can tell it's 012 because it has the "Assist" mechanic that isn't present in the original game. Additionally, 012 is an expansion of the original Dissidia more than a sequel, so all of the original content from Dissidia is also present in Dissidia 012, including this story.

Exactly. Cloud isn’t this dude who constantly has doubts about everything and Sephiroth isn’t supposed to be that obsessed with Cloud. It feels like Tetsuya Nomura didn’t even play the original FF7 and just went with what he thought these characters were actually like. This effect is sadly still present even till this day.

@@oreotaku4017 I know but that’s not the point. There has been some mischaracterization with the FF7 cast ever since Kingdom Hearts 1. Square just rolled with it ever since. The remakes have been doing a better job of trying to portray these characters the right way. Dissidia doesn’t do that with Cloud and Sephiroth.

@@ActualDiamond there is a lot to unpack here but the thing that is most important is that Cloud(FF7) =/= Cloud(KH) Firstly Nomura has said over and over that the FF characters are not the same as their FF game selves. He is using them to play the roles he needs for them in KH and is reimagining them to be completely different yet familiar. Thats why he never uses characters he never personally designed himself because he doesn’t want to get experimental with someone else’s characters. Secondly Nomura worked closely with Sakaguchi, Kitase, and Nojima. He was heavily involved and influenced the story and characters of FF7. He does know the characters and has been portraying them consistently in the media connected to FF7. Cloud has always had doubts from failing to become a SOLIDER, failing to save is friends/family/home, and the trauma of being experimented on. So much so he snapped and convinced himself he was the ideal version of himself. He had these doubts still when he snapped back and recovered in the Lifestream with Tifa. His story is about struggling, self acceptance, moving on from his failures.

Cloud sounds exactly like how I imagined while playing VII, they all do honestly. I thought the casting was perfect
