I’m 42 with dry/combo skin. I tried this foundation and it sucked the moisture right out of my skin. I used a heavy moisturizer and a moisturizing primer. Still, no luck. Plus, the fair shades have a wide shade gap. So, I couldn’t get a good shade match for my pale princess skin.

Thank you for the review as I was curious to see your thoughts as we share the same skin type. I was able to sample this foundation on the back of my hand a couple of weeks ago and it immediately felt dry. Glad I didn’t purchase.

Funny, Angie Hot and Flashy, loves this foundation, but I think she has oily/combo skin. Not sure that it's meant for dry skin, but it looked nice on your skin, Shelly. Hope you have a great weekend! ❤❤

I correctly guessed what grade you were going to give it before you stated it. I guess that means I've watched enough of your reviews to know what you are looking for in a foundation. :) It definitely wasn't the most flattering foundation on you and made the pores on your cheeks really noticeable at the end of the day. I normally can't see them.

Love your reviews! This was a big fail for my 54 yr old dry skin, too. 😒 Sad, because this applied nicely and I liked the finish (not to mention the price!). I just ended up looking like I had chicken pox since it disappeared from everywhere but my pores and dry patches. I keep meaning to mix it with primer and moisturizer to see if that helps. I hate wasting it!

@@tinaclarkson I was wrong to say that without proof. My frustration is that with so many paid opinions it has become almost impossible to know who is being honest. I started watching YT videos for honest feedback before making purchases but now I feel like I am watching commercials instead of honest opinions. When Angie said she found a new holy grail I became really excited UNTIL she said it was a Sephora foundation. I guarantee you that nobody will be talking about this foundation in a month. I hope I’m wrong.

I tend to have the opposite experience of Angie (I love her reviews too) so if she liked it, it was probably pretty likely that I wouldn't 😂 she's more combo than I am and it tends to be easier to deal with combo with only some dry areas versus totally dry, at least with the way companies are making foundations right now.

I don't know why I don't use my Artis more! I think somewhere along the line someone commented that it was too expensive of a brush to do reviews with because not everybody has it so maybe it's making foundations look better.... well, I don't think it makes the foundations look any better than my Elf brush but I have a feeling that's why I stopped using it in videos. But I also forget about it everyday! Dude. We'd have the most fun band ever.

The Stila got a B- grade from me, so it was higher than this Sephora. I didn't notice it oxidizing on me, but I don't often have oxidation issues.

This one is like clay. It looks awful on the skin. No luminosity at all. Uneven, emphasises all imperfections (even the ones you weren’t aware of😮). Terrible terrible
