The problem with the tower 28 mascara isn't that the formula has changed. It has more to do with storage between the manufacturer and the warehouse that the stores use. The formula isn't holding up under warehouse conditions.

I got the new ND palette. I got Rare Beauty in Happy. One Size matte spray. Ellis Brooklyn Sand body spray. Sephora cotton squares. Born in Roma Green Stravaganza. Laniege lip mask and gloss. I also got the biggest Cinema Secrets brush cleanser. I can't use any of it because I have been sick. Great haul. Have a wonderful weekend. ❌️⭕️

I got Patric ta mattes palette the moment it launched and I ❤️❤️❤️ it.. I’ve never seen a formula which literally blends itself.. will be repurchasing it once I hit pan on few of these.. I also picked up haus labs concealer and Huda beauty loose powder and I am loving my little haul

I had the same experience when I bought the brown Tower 28 mascara when it launched. It felt dried out already when I first opened!

Oh nooo. This is coming in my kit! And I’ve heard such GREAT things about it. Was a big reason that I got the kit bc was a full size Tower 28 that people raved about, and I also wanted to try the Saie & lawless lip plumper while I needed a brown eyeliner too.

I picked up a Sephora favorites deluxe perfume sampler kit. There's 1 perfume in the kit I want a full size of. Also, a Dr. Jart Foundation and Dr. Jart skin care kit. And the Givenchy setting powder. Nice haul!❤

About the Tower 28 mascara, I tried for the first time last week and my first impression was, “That’s a drier formula.” And now I’m wondering if that’s not how it’s supposed to be, since you mentioned yours come fairly wet? If there’s inconsistency, I don’t know if I’d want to repurchase! As it is, it’s still nice, but I don’t want it to dry it too fast 😭

I have only tried the Tower mascara one time when they launched. (I’m the type that will keep a mascara for a whole year. ) That mascara noticeably dried out within 3 weeks and I threw it away. Looks like you got a fun haul!

Ugh that’s so frustrating! I wonder why it seems to dry out so fast? It’s such a good formula but it’s almost impossible to justify if it dries up within weeks.

I look forward to your wear review of the Saie concealer! I’ve been trying to find the perfect way to wear my ND concealer. It just seems to settle into fine lines and emphasize texture for me.

Oh nooo. I just got this @laura10777 Was sooo sick of the Huda one leaking/pouring out a mess of wasted $/liquid gold concealer each & everytime. Read the reviews. It’s a real thing (packaging) but LOVELY concealer. I had to find another one.

I ordered the Rare Beauty blush and it came all busted. I was wearing a brand new white shirt and it got everywhere. Be careful! I have the Saie concealer on the way. I’m excited to try it out on my super dry skin.

I feel like the one size powder packaging is the reason it’s so unlikable to so many people, because the powder is so thick and chunky, but if it had a sifter, it would have much better of a texture

Surprisingly I went a little crazy for the Sephora sale, I rarely ever shop at Sephora so I went in store and swatched and played with alot of stuff. The saie concealer with me less is more and I don’t set it it, I know it’s crazy 😂 but it works. Grabbed the new fenty highlighter, some Mario products, kosas lip products, Sephora brushes and lipliner.

@@AndreaMatillano so finally tried the fenty highlighter, I got the first shade pretty purlz, I do have textured skin and rosacea so normally I am not a highlighter girly but when I swatched it in store it seemed very soft and silky I used an angled fluffy brush and I liked it it didn’t emphasize my texture as much as other highlighters do, I do wish they had just one shade lighter. But I would definitely swatch in stores cause the pictures on Sephora online seem off to me

I really hope the powder serum works for you! I mainly use it as a primer. I apply it after my sunscreen. I make sure my sunscreen is completely settled into my skin. Then I apply the serum to my oily areas and wait a few minutes 2-3 for it to completely set as well and thats it! I find that if I dont let my skincare settle when I put the serum on top it can make my foundation can break apart so letting both your skincare and serum set is key. I personally dont really feel it on my skin but I know some have mentioned how you can feel the slight sensation of the serum drying on your skin.

Andrea I know you recommend the Ami Cole translucent powder. Is the translucent color yellow or pink. I'm trying to figure out if I want to try it but I'm really fair with cool undertone. Is that powder good for under the eyes and all over the face?

I like the Lawless lipgloss but I hate that it only brings .11 oz for that price. Patrick Ta's has .30oz for the same price and even the Summer Fridays has more product. I bought the shade Velvet but debating wether it's worse me keeping it or returning

My last round of tower 28 mascara dried out soooo fast too. And I have worn a sample of the Urban Decay foundation for a few days and it is not that great for my 50 yr old skin. It sits a little heavy and accentuates my fine lines.

Re Tower 28 mascara: I repurchased on their website around Black Friday and saved it with my backup products. When I opened the mascara a few weeks ago, the purple packaging of the cap twisted off. So now when I use the tube, I undo the purple cap, and then twist the black cap (inner packaging) to use the mascara. I don’t remember my previous one doing that. Wasn’t the purple packaging glued on and you’d open the component all at once? Also, I feel like the mascara is already a bit dried up. I bought one of the Sephora clean beauty sets during the sale and the Tower 28 mascara was in that set. Maybe I’ll open it sooner rather than later. 🤔

I believe it is supposed to be glued together, so it sounds like the cap might have come loose! That’s really frustrating that your mascara feels like it is already dried up too. You’ll have to let me know how the one in your Sephora set is! I really wish the formula was the same as when they first launched it. 😭

U could always add a drop of oil to the tower mascara it will bring it back. Give it a try.

Nice haul. Hope you love it all. I am going to pass on the Sephora sale, just can’t justify the purchase did a huge declutter still have eyeshadow pallets I have not used yet. I actually found those ami cole lip oils to be too goopy for me. They are really hard to keep from leaking out. Like even in my drawer they leak. I don't carry them w me for that reason. But i love the cheek formula. Wish the component matched the price tho. It feels cheap.

I have dry skin and I am 46 many concealers don't work on me either don't wear well,make my under eyes look very dry or some look so good and last long but broke me out but ND works on my so well.I always use less and tin layer.

Hello Andrea, can you please update us on the Patrick Ta eyeshadow you already have? I want to buy a pallet but I heard about the mold issue that happens with some batches, and I want to avoid that.

Yes! I haven’t experienced any issues with mold in my palettes. I’ve had them both for a few years and they still perform really well! Some of the shimmers have dried out just a little bit, but they are definitely still usable.

I agree, trust is a very important thing and I don’t trust nor care for that lady, therefore I never spent my money on the brand before. She simply lied to her followers.
