Thank you Jason for your teaching. I have drawn for just about my whole life. portraits are my favorites. I have done landscapes and seascapes. I am now 51 and have become legally blind. I have not painted since 1989. But after watching bob Ross and then came across your videos. I now picked up the paint brush again :-) everyone is in awe when they see my paintings lol. So thank you so much for inspiring me to paint again.

Just now catching this old one and I'm glad I did.. I'm working up the courage to do a specific painting, very special to my Daughters heart, and this painting you've done here helps me very much Jason.. thank you!
Is this guy the British successor to Bob Ross O.O like in all seriousness he paints just as beautifully, and his accent and voice give off that ASMR effect. the same kind that Bob Ross did. This painting is amazing and Sepia just works so well and I love the technique of using masking tape to section off the horizon line :D
Thanks for sharing your talent and technique. A bit different than my approach, but there is always something one can pick up on. I never thought of your techn approach to sand and froth before. I'm going to try in my next scape. Thanks
as Jason has said many times, he was taught how to paint using Bob Ross's techniques. So before people call him out saying he is a fake and a copy cat, this is how he was taught so this is how he is going to paint. He does copy Ross's style and im glad, because it makes for wonderful art and i like to see that work continue on.
Beautiful. How do you keep the color for the water so light without it mixing with the under color? I tried doing it but after 1-2 brushes it turned light purple. Yours seems to last a bit longer. Is it possible i put on too much under color? Love your paintings and look forward to more.
+Custom Relic The black undercolor (gesso) needs to be completely dry before you start. It might be best to prepare the canvas a day ahead of time and let it dry overnight. If you're starting out with black paint as an undercolor, you'll need to wait longer for it to dry completely. :) Didn't mean to butt in, just know how hard it is to wait for an answer.
I am wanting to pick up my brushes again, I primarily worked with acrylics beforehand and liked the medium, but I want to give oil painting a try, I heard you say Bob ross paints work better for blending. Can you tell me where you get your supplies from?
Could've done without the highlights at 25:00.. it really didn't need them. Also, I like to think you went back and re-did the rock at the bottom! But fair dos, mate.. Amazing!
I am surprised that I have the capability to do this.......in about 10 months and 5 months of rage. I could never do such beautiful painting is such little time! Well.done
Jason, I am loving your paintings and find it very easy to follow. It does look easy for anyone to try. Your easy going manner and great sense of humor also makes for an enjoyable experience. You are a handsome man btw
You're getting better and better all the time. I don't paint, but, like many Americans of my generation, I grew up watching Bob Ross on public television. I still love watching his videos, as I now love watching yours. Keep up the great work!
me gustaría que lo explicase en español. te sigo porque me gusta tu estilo de pintura. pero entiendo las explicaciones que devén ser muy interesante gracias...
Jason you have a gift and thank you for sharing... Because of you and a few others I have now started to paint. Scared at first but now I find I am thinking about it all the time. Looking at trees, sky clouds, wooded areas, water, and waves. I have drawn for years and now am jumping into this. Thanks again.
Great video, great painting Jason! :) I followed your videos now quite a while and started to paint myself. Just one question: When you start a wet on wet painting, do you dip your brushes in oil before they are dipped in the color? Because I had some problems that my brushes absorbed a lot of color and only a tiny bit got on the canvas itself
the last time I seen a painting so detailed.... was when a white man with an afro and beard was blessing the canvas. He was one of my favorite artist. You do phenomenal work. keep it up!
Thank you Jason for your paintings. I have been drawing just about my whole life, portraits are my favorites . I am now 51 years old and legally blind, I have painted 4 oil paintings back in 1989, and have not painted since then. But here recently after watching bob Ross and then after watching you, I have started painting again. Everyone is in awe of my paintings because of my vision lol. So thank you so much for your teaching.
Jason is absolutely brilliant. I've never really done painting before, but he is such an inspiration and makes painting look so natural. I've now started painting and enjoy it thoroughly. Thanks Jason.........Respect to your works and teachings.
I just love watching and hearing him paint. I'm normally a watercolor person. It's because of you Jason that I found the confidence to tackle Oils. I just say, I am liking it very very much! Thank you. Your wonderful!
