A lot of the iranian pop stars in LA are capitalising on the "New Afghan" Market.. i think this beat sounds distinctly Afghan. Im an iranian born in the UK. and dont really listen to any iranian music . but this song is catchy as hell. :)

Sepideh is a Parsakhay - Armenian from Iran. This song is sung in the Iranian dialect however it is an Afghani song. Does that clear it up for you all?

@Sunshinesrays1 Don't make such ignorant comments. This song, its lyrics, melody and beat is pure Afghan as originally sang by Saraban. Traditional Iranian music does not have this 3-3 rhythm called Dadra. Most Iranian songs are in 4-4 rhythm. What Sapidah has done is to speed the song up a bit and used western rock instrumentation, and of course, her Tehrani accent. But nothing else is changed.

I think by words they mean LYRICS? who wrote the lyrics is unkown. You cant say words: Ustad saraban because he was the singer of the song but not the writer of the poem :) I LOVE MY AFGHANISTAN AND AFGHAN MUSIC
She did a great job on this one. both de music and the lyrics are afghan; de video even admitted to their copying by saying music: afghan; but they dey didn't want to admit the lyrics. the lyrics and wordin is pure afghani style; no irani songs use these type of lyrics and i listen to irani songs alot. just listen to the lyrics and you know it's afghan;

This Iranian/Afghan bickering is very childish, really i mean c'om . Khanoom Speideh made a nice remake of the song that Ustad Sarban sang originally. But it must be said that not giving people their credit it wrong and in america its called PLAGIARISM so in that right the fact that they put unknown is wrong because it is known. Mistake maybe, but i hope in the future avang gives people their credit

Sepideh is an iranian singer. she is just singing an afghan song. she is muslim, and she is very pretty. Most muslim women are sexy, and the way she dresses does not make her a bitch. I know alot of muslim with cover, but inside they are as bith as they could. so never let ones looks confuse you!!!!
