I also just had sepsis and suspected endocarditis. Thankfully my port was fine bc I had to stop using it bc it was blocked anyways. They eventually unblocked it after my peripheral cultures were clear and then checked the port cultures that were clear too. I was so lucky. Anyways I hope you are better by now (out of the hospital, I know what it's like to never be better)
