On a short trip to Philadelphia @Shortline819 and I took, we made sure to check out SEPTA's Route 15, which uses modernized PCC streetcars (PCC III’s)! These streetcars were taken out of service for renovation, but have returned to Girard Ave as of June, 2024!
I highly recommend taking a ride on one of these historic vehicles if you ever find yourself in Philadelphia! Getting to Route 15 is an easy transfer from the Market-Frankford Line (at Girard station) or the Broad Street Subway (at its own Girard station)!
