Love the bars; but I beg to differ, Paul DID NOT have a personality problem, nor did he devalue personal relationships. Paul had many friends and often wrote to them, calling each one by name, to encourage, challenge, and yes to even rebuke. Now that's a good friend! Nah, no matter what Barnabas did for Paul, Jesus had already chosen, and therefore already ordained Paul.

Wait a minute, I can be forgiving but not allow myself to be in the same position to be mistreated. Does giving you forgiveness mean i get to let you do this again and again to me. The stretch was that he did not walk out on them. I have a problem with Paul not having a reason to be upset, is being upset the same as not forgiving? I have had this happen, I can let you in but not allow you to keep hurting me. I can be courteous but not allow you to do me. It never showed jealousy.

I love listening to your sermon Rev. Was the dispute between Paul & Barnabas about unforgiveness or the honor for the mission? I don't this Paul had a problem with unforgiveness. He says Mark can't come because he wasn't sure he'll repeat the same. On the issue in Galatians, Barnabas was very hypocritical. My thinking is, it's not an issue about Paul desiring Barnabas to take sides with him. I believe Paul is calling, both Barnabas and Peter, out for misleading gentile Christians.

I think I resonated too much w/Paul… 👀 when he said Paul didnt like Barnabas taking Peter’s side.
