September is here! Another Lego release day. Is online better than in store for the best Lego deals??? Is preordering the way to go! I think it was for the Zelda set!
What would you choose 🤔
I discuss Harry Potter and my thoughts on that theme.

I prefer in store purchases…i do agree for the online possibility…I’m lucky my store is 15 minutes away by car…. Thanks for sharing your view..🥰😁👍❤️

I like both.. going to the store and online..Sometimes the stores run out of gifts and sometimes they have gwp that run out online.. ultimately its economics that drives everything.. and nice card.!!

I totally get what you are saying online vs. in store. I fortunately live about 20-25 minutes from my local Lego store so if I can go to the store I will. Sometimes, things like work, family, etc. get in the way and I will order online. I also take advantage of Rakuten so I do like ordering online now rather than in the store. I do go on the May the Fourth releases as I love being there for the Star Wars stuff for sure. Plus I usually order online as well to take advantage of more than one GWP. Sometimes you also have to be strategic with GWPs and things like that. Great video.

I love going to the Lego store and I do love buying online too I love Zelda and Harry Potter I love marvel and Batman and I love sonic the hedgehog too and I love Star Wars

100% agree with what you said about J.K. Rowling! I just can't support such a hateful bigot. I decided to wait on the Deku tree, but it looks incredible and might pick it up if it goes on sale or I have enough Insider points to justify it to myself. 😄

I always do in store! I find it way more exciting going in person and buying all the new stuff! Plus it gives me content to make vlog for the channel!

All I got on September 1st were the D&D minifigures which were awesome. More excited for October 1st for that Sail Barge!!

I rarely preorder anything in the last 10 years be it Lego, videogames or whatever although I understand the attraction. I'm contented to get it at a time of my own choosing plus I have the benefit of seeing other peoples opinion on whatever it is, I did make an exception for Ninjago City Gardens is it looked incredible and the set lived up to my high expectations. I'm curious for your reasons for getting the Zelda set, was it because you think it's a cool set, you're a fan of the Zelda series or a combo of the two? Good video btw and I enjoyed it :)

Yes I’ve played Zelda since I was a kid. I started playing on game cube. Ocarina of time. I also have the breath of the wild on my switch. I used to never pre order either , but when you can get some gift with purchases I will haha. Ninjago gardens is a beautiful set. I haven’t bought that one yet. Good pick up!

I would probably preorder more if Lego released a set that I wanted to coincide with a double VIP offer but that is something they're unlikely to do. I've been a Zelda fan since "A Link To The Past" on the SuperNES so I'm very interested to hear the opinions on this set from someone who not just buys Lego but is a fan of the series too. It's good timing for Lego to release this set this month because it's the same month as we get our hands on Echos Of Wisdom which I have actually pre-ordered so I can't wait to play it😊🎮

@@brookethebuilderI'm yet to buy Tears Of The Kingdom as I only in the last 12 months finally got round to playing Breath Of The Wild and Link's Awakening. I need to download and play the DLC for Breath Of The Wild before I play the sequel but I promise you I will get to it before the years end😊

I wholeheartedly agree on not sponsoring J. K. Rowling for even a penny, with her twisted views 🤬. On a more light hearted topic; I do most of my Lego shopping online, as the nearest Lego shop is indeed too far. And the local shops only occasionally have sets of my interests. I also like the quietness and convenience of online shopping 😀. I haven’t ordered anything yet, but Mario and Yoshi are high on the list. And I’m planning to add lights to a few more sets, so that might be my first priority. Have you checked out the Star Wars advent calendar?

Right, she’s such a hateful person 😔. The Mario and Yoshi set looks so cool! I can’t wait to pick that one up. What sets are you lighting up 👀?? I did see the Star Wars calendar! I buy it every year, but I do get it when it goes an a sale!

I’m not that familiar with all the Star Wars sets, I hadn’t seen the calendar before, and it looks cool. Waiting for sales makes sense though! I want to light up my Notre Dame set, and I might also do my Titanic set, if I feel brave. As that one will require quite some dismantling 😬

@@Harko- Both those sets would look nice with the lighting kits! I remember you saying now about the Notre dame set! The titanic would be a challenge but I would imagine it would look awesome! 🤩 The advent calendars are so much fun at Christmas time! The new lego table decoration with the candle looks beautiful. I think I’m going to have to pick that up in November.

How do you hang your ships on the wall?

I 3D print wall mounts for some of them, and I also use just a screw in the wall and some fishing wire. Attach the wire to the set and just hang it like a photo frame.
