Addiction to alcohol or drugs increases the risk of suicide. People who abuse drugs or have an alcohol addiction are up to 14 times more likely to die by suicide than others. At this month's 2nd Wednesday Safety Session Presented by Milwaukee we will be discussing what the signs of drug or alcohol addiction are and how you and your team can help those suffering from it.
Joining us will be mental health expert Aracelis (Shelly) Mosquera LCSW, Executive Director of Dade Family Counseling and a licensed clinical social worker. Ms. Mosquera has a broad range of experience which includes working with employers to develop mental health initiatives. She has been a contributor to 2nd Wednesday Safety Sessions in the past discussing mental health on the jobsite and how to identify warning signs of suicide in employees. We are happy to welcome her and her valuable insights back to our safety session.
