Never commented on this before but feel I have to. The bass player is a real linchpin in this band. They learn and play songs from an era of dominating musicianship (unlike today’s neutered contributions). And, _that_ era produced songs from all over the map of typically killer hooking bass lines. This guy comes each time either nailing original intent or something damn close to what was produced. Love to know his backstory. Music education?, experience?, bands?, etc. Bet it’s an interesting story.

Leonid and Friends I would say has the edge on the horns - but that's because they specialize in covers of Chicago songs and Chicago has always had a prominent place for horns in just about all of their songs. So Leonid and Friends' horn section is well-experienced and tight-knit, but HSCC's horns do a commendable job on Every genre they play on.

When a cover band does a classic tune, the goal is to get it right. This band has the ability to play a song with attention to detail and makes it sound as close to the original as possible. The talent they round up to do these songs is really amazing. The people always look like they are having a blast playing the music which adds to the enjoyment of watching it. Another masterful reproduction with the usual great sound production...keep it going folks, you bring smiles to many faces.

Folks, you have absolutely no idea as to the musicality that is missed by playing their music on a phone/tablet. Just imagine how amazing this band sounds while being played through a killer sound (tube amps and dual 16” subs) system… sounds like they are performing live for me in my man cave! Most classes teach you how to do something. Band teaches you to be somebody. The things you learn in band - especially the discipline, work ethic and teamwork - will be things you use every day for the rest of your life. You will also hear music (and hopefully, play music) the rest of your life. You will appreciate music in a whole different way because you were in band. I am SO lucky that I have this job. I am so glad I get to teach music. I am so grateful I get to teach kids like you. You know, I used to be a kid like you that loved playing an instrument and loved band class and loved music. And guess what - now I’m an adult that loves playing an instrument and loves band class and loves music. I am proud to be part of a truly great profession. Wow! I think I just got chills. Isn’t that amazing? That we can come together and by playing our own individual parts as a unit, the result is music that is so unique, so remarkable, so enjoyable that I can get chills? What a great moment in time that was! Very few people in the world can do what you do. Very few people can play a musical instrument at the level you can. Very few people can read music. Very few people participate in musical ensembles. You are elite because of your ability to perform the way you perform. How proud you should be!

Composed with six hands, in only one month, by Maurice White, Al McKay and Allee Willis, the song "September" is released in 1978. Year when the group is at the top of its success-story, selling millions of albums, filling the biggest halls with concerts all more magical than the others. After some controversy within the group about the writing of the chorus "Ba de ya", the composers finally concluded that it does not matter what the chorus is as long as the groove is present. There were several theories about the choice of the date - September 21 - but in the end it was learned that it was only because it sounded good when sung. Bonjour la France . 👍😎👌

This group is one of the best cover bands I've heard. On point from the sound mixer, instrumental playing to the singers!! Keep on going.....🥰

Growing up in the 60-70’s loved earth wind & fire. Listened on 8-track !! Knew u guys would knock it out of the park ! E W & fire was one of the most underrated groups ever. All the musicians were world class & they had 4-5 excellent singers. Ew&f show was unbelievable especially in the days when Maurice was still performing 👍👍👍✌️

That is an exceptional “back up singers group”…”Voice Popping” and “Eye Opening” and “Jaw Dropping”…The whole “team” made this a “Get up and dance” experience!!!…Fun from start to finish…I kept clapping and making noise and they didn’t come back out for an encore…I can’t wait for their next collaboration…KUDOS

Only the songs are back up. Hindley Street is a first tier group. I listen to Hindley Street before any other goup. Their talent is incredible, across the board. You Rock !

Powerful vocals by the creme de la creme of ladies singers. Pina, Kat and Lesley. Great musical rendition by the band. Araya doing good as the Lead voice. Great horn section.
