@@NorthlawnFlowerFarm Hi Danielle, so lovely to hear from you! I’ve been enjoying your channel, a lovely garden tour in Ireland 🇮🇪 and I never thought to take cuttings from Zinnias, it’s too late to do it here now but I will give it a go next year. I learn lots from you too!! Love to you & Grace from Murphy & Jenny x
Thank you for taking the time to do a wonderful garden tour! It has become such an incredible garden over the years that I have been watching and learning! Hope you practice taking time to just enjoy what you’ve created!
@@cherylmeissner4416 Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it. We definitely need to ‘practice’ just sitting and enjoying our garden, if we sit down, we generally jump up again two minutes later as there is always something pressing that needs done. But we do enjoy the process of achieving goals and know exactly what we want to do, perhaps one day when it’s all done we can chill out a bit in it! 🤣 Until then, so much to do!
In SE Pennsylvania in US Zone 6B. I also noticed less butterflies this year also as did my gardener friends. Early in the season, there were none but thankfully, in late summer, they appeared. But certainly not like other years. Usually the buddleia is covered in them. Hopefully they come back next year. Thanks for the tour! Beautiful and inspiring!
I live in NYC and saw a lot of butterflies in my garden this year. Maybe that's because my perennials finally matured into sizeable specimens that can support the life cycle of insects and small mammals and birds. It was nice to see my efforts at urban wilding pay off.
... Very happy to have found your RU-vid channel. Such good advice, great archiving of previous videos for later review, and so wonderful to see and hear the next horticultural generation (Olivia) - and all in a beautiful and interesting garden! Thank you so much!
Aways interesting at the end of the various seasons to sit n appraise what did well n what didn't. Other than the real obvious planting in heavy shade etc. Most of it falls down to the weather. This year we've had a great growing season (great for growth - not so good for blooms) But a different season & new challenges.
What a treat to find your video posted this morning. It’s looking so lovely! I think the door looks wonderful at the end of the Long Walk! Such a nice surprise feature.
Thank you for a great garden tour! I kept pausing to capture plants and their names! There goes my shopping list for next year 🥰. Your garden looks so beautiful, even the newly planted arboretum area.
Loved this video, it’s a one to watch over and over again. I’m so pleased the trees are all doing well. I’ve just ordered a forest pansy after seeing yours. Thank you 🌺
@@harryhj5981 Hi Harry, thanks for watching, always good to get your feedback, do you mean jobs we do in winter or how we prepare the garden for winter?
@@MurphysGarden I disagree. Two herbaceous borders to rearrange by late April 2025 and a rill by May. The rest is good or very good. I am good at tormenting myself unnecessarily in the same way, so feel the vibe. Stop !
@@stephenlaw1782 Oh yes, i didn’t comment on the huge hole, I’ve got so used to it now! It’s going to be a rill, hoping to do the work this winter, so watch this space!
@@MurphysGarden I’ve just planted a Forrest pansy of a similar size Also have shirobano and Avondale I get a lot of inspiration from your garden and also at Aberglasney gardens in wales where I volunteer
@@stephenlaw1782 I’ve just googled Aberglasney, it looks stunning, what a inspirational place to work, perhaps I’ll visit one day! Thanks for watching Jenny
