My husband and I enjoy sitting next to each other on the couch and reading for hours. We talk a bit about the books but the majority is in silence, and it’s wonderful. Just having him there, while I get lost in the story is very comforting especially since I know he feels the same. Also, since our reading taste vastly differs, once a month we recommend a book we like to each other - sometimes it’s a hit, sometimes a miss but the deliberate act of trying out something your partner likes is meaningful.

Before i got into a relationship, i THOUGHT my love language was: Physical touch and Gifting (what i like to receive) and what i liked to give out was the same. But now being in a relationship for 5 years now it’s changed to giving and receiving Words of Affirmation and Acts of Service i think these things change one you get to know your partner and how you guys become comfortable with each other. But i 100% think that being patient and waiting for the right person is the right move to make no matter what you see on social media and how much you may want something like that. Also love your vids Skya you’re my comfort content creator💞🌸

❤ I thought my love language was physical touch. But as I started dating and now being in a relationship for about 3 years, it’s not changed but grown to acts of service and very heavily on words of affirmation. My BF doesn’t do the physical touch as much as I need it, least in public, but let’s be real he loves to be the little spoon. 😂 he’s not really one to speak on his feelings also but I give him the space to do so. And I think because of that I yearn for the words of affirmation. We are working on that 😅

@@annyeongskya I think at some point we all need all 5 love languages also. Not sure what that says about me or my BF but it’s a chance to grow and understand each other and it will definitely help and open communication. That’s why that is important in a relationship. Men are grizzly bears outside and teddy bears inside 😂
