Yeah the packaging was definitely top notch with those books. Yo what!?!? 40 I wish I was 40 again... Happy early birthday my friend. Yeah 5 min review is perfect... Those 20 to 30 min reviews are hard to make time to watch... You do you brother and we will watch regardless. At least Someothercharater and I will. 😂 Nice update sir.

@@FacelessBookReviews thank you for the birthday wishes 😀 yeah I can’t talk about a book for 30 minutes by myself so I thought someone might watch something shorter. I know if I watch a review and I’m not sold on it in 5 minutes then I’m probably not going to be in 20 more. As long as you watch it who cares about that someothercharater guy. 😂😂

@RowdyPlayer1 woo...woo...there's got to be at least one person who cares about me. My mother said I had a perfect face for radio. That's encouraging. It seems like all my book reviews go long. When I film them, I feel like I've got a good 15-20 minutes of stuff, and then the finished product is 30-50 minutes long. I'll work on tightening stuff up. Hard to decide what to keep and what to drop. I use the Samsung notes app to type out page numbers and a short narrative on talking points or facts that might be good. I keep my phone open while reading and will quickly drop my thoughts on the app. Helps with little details. And I use the sticky tabs pretty often too if I'm not in the mood to use my phone. Color coding the tabs helps too. Certain colors for plot, characters or environments. If you're a real heathen, you can write in or highlight your books. Ouch. Can't do it myself. Even the free ones.

@@someothercharacter I care about you man! And your mother was a really smart lady. 😂😂 I kid I kid. I will have to try those things, but 6 minute reviews just sounds weird. 🤷

@@RowdyPlayer1 A lot of BookTubers do a round up of short book reviews. You can call it "Rowdy's Round Ups". Not to be confused with Woody's Round Up.

I like the 5 min reviews; it’s enough time to be more than “I liked it” or “I hated it” while also not being so long it’s boring. However, if you need 10 minutes then you need 10 minutes; if you need 2 minutes then you need 2 minutes. Don’t try to force it or talk fast to keep it at that 5. I like the video wrap up part; it was a great way to know what you did so I can go, “Hey! I’ll check out that video.”

Trial and error is the name of the game. Can’t tell you how many times I tried something only to change when I saw that it wasn’t working.

@@JoeRoverWrites you are correct! I’m going to give it a shot and if I enjoy it then I will keep doing it but if it becomes a chore then I might have to drop it.
