Sniffed Devotion at the department store - it was very sharp to my nose. Maybe I should have tested on skin. Dolce Garden unfortunately smelt too sour to me and didn’t have the kind of beach coconut that I like. Great picks Jackie!! Really enjoyed this video😊

Hi Jackie! When I smelled Devotion I did not care for it that was 6 months ago. I went back to Sephora last week and tested it again and I’m loving it! I ordered a full-size from Jomashop for such a great price. So crazy how our noses changed! ❤

If you like bananas - try Isola Sol. It’s a bananaesque ylang ylang but banana in a sophisticated, luxurious way and not cheap, juvenile or food way. Lovely trail too - got two compliments at UPS store when I was dropping off decant orders and I walked past people.

Not team devotion... it smells sooooo artificial and "cleaner" like to me. However, I LOVE Lira and the Blend Oud Sana... have enjoyed the scent profile but I just feel like Devotion missed the mark on the blend. I'm hopeful that the new intense may be improved.

Celeste gives off a plastic note and a powderiness that reads as condoms to my nose…. but the drydown is BEAUTIFUL. it’s the most perplexing perfume I have sampled lol. also I am team devotion !!

I’m new to your channel and I’m loving your content. Leisure in Paradise is my favorite fragrance. It makes me feel things, much like you said in a video. I feel like my best self wearing it and it’s definitely a compliment gette. I also love that you like and own a lot of niche scents. I understand your summer/fall conundrum. I'm ready for fall, too but we're back in a heat wave here in California. I hope you get to wear some fragrances this month that satisfy that fall craving. I wanted to love Devotion, but it doesn't love me. The first 2 minutes were beautiful, then it turned sour (actually smelled like urine) on my skin. Too bad! Lira smells great on me, I guess I'll stick with that one.

Celeste works SO well in the high heat for me! I wore it on a day at Disney World in the sweltering heat and it was gorgeous. I got multiple compliments.

Hi Jackie, I am so ready for fall. I live in The Netherlands, and for the last couple of years I have been wanting to make a pumpkin pie, but the puree needed is kind of hard to come by over here. I think about it too late, and then it's all gone. So today I was at an expat store to pick up a parcel, and it suddenly entered my mind. And yes, they had it! Well, it was actually sold out already, but the lady was so kind to sell me the last two jars which were meant for someone else (they had another shipment coming). So I guess I will be making a pumpkin pie this year 😃. Finally! I hope it will be delicious. I am tempted to buy Khair Pistachio, but am afraid it will be too perfume-y lol. I crave a 100% sweet and nutty gourmand pistachio. That's why I ordered Pistachio Biscotti. Shipping costs were like half of the price of the perfume itself! But there was a Labor Day discount, so I managed to bring the total amount down a bit. At some point I will also purchase the Kyse one.

My favorite is Spiritueuse double vanille from Guerlain. It’s not a gourmand vanilla… it’s boozy, woody, slightly smoky from incense, vanilla that I LOVE. It’s my favorite vanilla of all time. ❤️

I feel like Pas ce Soir fills the same place in my collection that Jardins de Misfah does and that's not a bad thing. I want to try the extract though, just to see if it may bring a little deeper profile to it. I only have the Julianna's perfume version right now. Considering springing for the OG though.

I always thought Leisure in Paradise didn't project on me but I wore it to the Apple Store the other day and heard two people talking about something that smelled so good (and I was the only one near them). 😄 I think it just blooms in the heat.

Hey Jax 😍, Simone Andreli fragrances are fabulous for summer ❣ Tried Soleil Crystal in store yesterday and it's nice , maybe a more modern vs the OG..... stopped in to try the new release L'Elixir , only 1st impression but it's a No ...... Sprayed Devotion on a blotter and even though gourmands are my scent profile for sure , found Devotion too sweet , almost cloying . will revisit but after finding niche houses , just less and less interested in designer , except Guerlain L'Art et Matieres line

I like the scent profile of Devotion, but would never consider buying it because of perfumer behind this fragrance. You and your audience might don’t know that monsieur Cresp visited Russia due to a presentation of his own brand Akro in last September, he had lots of interviews, but hided this info from the rest of the world. My words can be easily proved by doing a small RU-vid search using combination of words “Cresp in Moscow / Cresp in Petersburg / Cresp Letual (Russian luxury store which is similar to Sephora)”. Sad that money is more important than humans life’s.

Wanted to love Devotion but it smelt like Lemon Pledge on me. Really love Dolce Garden, Alien Goddess Intense and Leisure in Paradise. Recently smelled French Defense in Nordstrom based on your recommendation and had to buy it! Absolute Love! Oh no… respectfully disagree on the Narco Oasis. I wore it this summer in (HOT) Texas and it was great not overwhelming - but I also didn’t overspray. I also paired it with Aican … Aican everywhere and just a couple sprays of Narco Oasis on my wrists - Amazing!

its definitely cooling down in the Carolinas, drove to work with the heat on a few times last month and this morning, and the paris corner fragrances are both kayali clones wish I new that before picking them up, I like them both it's just a bit redundant.

Team Devotion!! ❤ Absolutely adore! I can totally see how the change in location during a certain time of year can play with your head! In PA, right after Labor Day all the fall/Halloween decor comes out and pumpkin spice everything so the summer weather would definitely throw me off. Nonetheless, I think you did a fabulous job with the picks for the month 😊

I really like Devotion. For me, it was the best designer fragrance of last year. Probably only one of about three I liked and the only one I'd consider buying a bottle of. 😊

After a successful August, I repeated copying your September perfume tray (for the fragrances we have in common) ☺️ So fun! I got a 10ml of Miami by City Rhythm and I’m struggling with the saffron note, I think. It was almost a scrubber the last few times I’ve worn it. You are the third of one of my favorite fragrance reviewers speak highly of it so I’m going to keep trying and get a few more wears 🙃

Not a fan of devotion…. Something kept feeling like lemon cough drops… the ones you eat when your throat is sore …complete with the artificial sweeter taste. I just didn’t like the lemon. I prefer a tarty lemon not the artificial lemon. Can’t put my finger on what it was. Could even be the rum which threw me off… something in I just didn’t like. I blind brought it retail price too 😢And on me it didn’t project or last overly long time. I am keen to try the intense though! But I’ll learn my lesson and test before buying hahahaha.
