Thanks Dominick! You are inspiring me to work on my horn. I love Clifford and keep always coming back to him. I watched your ghost tonguing vid it clarified a lot, I always though Clifford was doodle tonguing but the 'n' sound seems to work better!

Love this series - found Dominick via a comment on a Fats vid - would love have you cover Clifford’s Night in Tunisia off of the Beginning and the End album - my all time favorite Clifford solo!

Hi, play solos just invented in the moment, is that the best thing to do? Clifford was unice, like for example Chet Bakers solos, or Miles. I have Chet ideas in soloing but not copy his solo, for me a copy solo is just a copy, not mine inner ideas. Keep doin what you like, Great. Thanks for sharing, Johnny D Bergh

Dominick - I really, really enjoy your analyses of CB's solos. Extremely enlightening. Is there any chance you could do a similar series on Chet Baker? I used to play trumpet for many years in a stage band but somehow could not get my fingers, tongue, and chops around playing 8th and 16th notes solos at 160bpm! So I took up playing bass! Not that that is much easier - but as long as I stick to 4-beats to the bar and no messing, the guys I jam with don't complain! So keep up the good work my friend and hope to see you on the other side of the street...

Great information. I've checked your previous work and performances. Very good! I'm getting back into the trumpet. What do you think about the Jupiter jtr 700?

Hey Dominick! I love Clifford and I love your playing. Your ghost tonguing sounds just like Clifford and I wanted to know how you're doing it (because I can't ask Clifford). I watched your video on ghost tonguing and how to incorporate it into playing, but what are you doing mechanically (with your mouth) to get the "n" sound/muffled sound out of the trumpet like on September song or the second Chorus of joy spring?
