Remember kids, it's one thing to play this (which is awesome) another thing to come up with the song from thin air. Imagine writing this song, and watching someone else playing it, the ultimate reward.
Simone van straten is a total bad ass, she's the best I've ever seen on RU-vid without question, I've been watching her videos for a long time, not only can she play fast but can alternate her picking techniques at will, she can down pick and alternate pick at will, she can use pinch harmonics at will and when necessary, she's an amazing lead guitarist as well, she's the best female guitarist I've ever seen and cannot be matched!
Is this in standard tuning? She makes it look so easy, I've never attempted to try to figure out Sepultura songs. I can't believe she's playing 0:10 - 0:20 all down strokes. I'd play that alternate picking....but damn......
Awesome. Just found and subbed instantly. Doing great. I am looking forward to learn electric guitar from scratch (ish). Will make sure to watch your videos.
Dear Simone I have tried to copy subtraction by seeing the tablature from songsterr and other sights though I can not find tablature for the solo part. If you know any sights showing tablature for the solo part please tell me. I guess you have enough skills and good ears to catch the melodies too. Really magnificent play, took my attention in every minute. Thanks writing from Gifu Japan.
Simone I just saw this because this video was in the suggested videos after the actual song. This is amazing! You are amazing! From Philadelphia, Darrell... PS ...can Sisters of Suffocation come to Philly sometime?
TheSoulflytriber I think it's an agathis wood body with a rosewood fretboard. the trem is not exacty liscensed by floyd rose, but some of the features are patented by floyd and used by permission, if I recall correcctly. not the most stable trem, but it could do the slayer stuff and that's all I cared about. I could hit it and it would go back into tune. LOL I changed out the screws on the locking nut. that helped keep it actually locked down. the pickups liked a lot of low mid-range dialed in. I got some kool feedback effects standing near the amp. I traded a boring sounding Gibson Explorer for the warlock and an ampeg v4-head in 1990. I think new they were like $325 with the case back then.
