All the years watching mike and this awesome channel, knowing what I know of him, guarantee he’s gonna look for super beefed up baby stroller with big off road aggressive wheels on it for a smoother ride and better traction and give it a nice custom lift for clearance and crazy bright off road lights all throughout the stroller and full skidplates and sliders and a baby rooftop tent aka a little crib that opens up in 1 second with the flip of a button on top of the stroller and front and rear steel bumpers and then of course a beefy winch somehow someway lol. Congrats mike and Ashley to the baby boy.

Dad camping tip: get some infant optic baby camera monitors. They work off of 12v power. You can put the baby up in the tent and still hang out by the fire while being “responsible”!

Chico car seat hands down man. Ease of installation is worth the little bit more you'll pay lol. And they're built like tanks. Also congratulations. I have 2 boys, 2 and 4.

Congrats man! Kids are super fun my 8 week old is asleep in my arms right now. Graco snug lock seats are awesome because you can keep a base in each car and just move the chair around super easy. 👌 lots of swaddels lots of bottles(if you go they route). Diaper genie is a must. Lots of burp cloths. Most importantly have fun with it. That first smile and that first giggle from your baby are life changing!

His face when you said "daddy's money" was great. Baby Tips... well having three boys my best advice would be to always look on the bright side, enjoy ever second you can, and be understanding. But the most important is to just always be there for them. Let them come with you to the store, let them help with things around the house or homestead. Even if it makes more work for you the memories are worth it. It has taken me 10 years and three boys to come to this realization and hate how much I missed over the years.

You guys planning on using cloth diapers? I used Alvababy diaper covers for my two kids and also Naturally Natures bamboo cloth Liners. Would definitely use disposable diapers for the first week or so because those colostrum dookies are no joke! Also get the hook on spray hose for the toilet, it's an absolute must! We just washed with regular Tide soap with two rinse cycles and air dried the Liners in direct sunlight to help with any stains.

Congrats Mike! Just a heads up, get a slimfit car seat for the back of your tundra. I have a 22 crewmax Tundra and a normal all-in-one car seat fits perfect in it. So I have doubts that you would be able to fit a full size car seat in your extended cab Tundra without making you move the truck seat all the way up and making it almost unusable for an adult. In mine, her car seat is almost touching the back of the front seat, and my wife is 5" 2' so she doesn't have the passenger seat all the way back for leg room. Yours won't be any problem when your kiddo hits 2 years old and you can turn the car seat around, but just some food for thought from someone with relevant experience! But good luck and enjoy it, fatherhood is a blast!

property tour! I read recently that kids car seats will soon be required to include side impact protection. I believe Recaro made some well regarded car seats, or people buy them just because of brand recognition. As a GEAR GUY you're going to have way too much stuff until you figure it out and slim down your load out. Everything changes, good luck! :D

Congrats on the new addition on the way Mike! My wife & I are expecting our first any day now. 🤰🏼I thought I’d share a few tips that helped me.. - Two YT channels you may like are Dad Verb & Fathercraft - I’m also a prepper so some things I researched; - how I can help with labor & delivery, (checked out Bradley Method or Spinning Baby to help her) - Cribs - Baby monitors - Strollers - Car seats - Vaccines - Newborn care - Sleep training - Breastfeeding latching tips (sorry if it’s TMI) - Postpartum - We didn’t put lots of clothes on baby registry. We put more practical things so we can get more help with that. Grandparents & loves ones ended up getting us clothes or even sent us nice hand-me-downs. It seems like we can’t escape target without getting at least one onesie. Definitely made sure to have plenty of zipper ones to help with faster changes in the middle of the night. Hope this helps man. I never really leave comments but thought it may help since it’s so fresh for me. I’m sure you guys will be great parents. Take care and God bless

Congratulations. As far as car seats go, DIONO all the way. Unless you plan on removing the seat constantly, they use actual steel in some of them and are hefty.

Congrats on the upcoming addition Mike! Excited for you guys! Tips: 1) buy some reusable cloth diapers but use them as burp cloths 2) whatever stroller system you get, avoid bulky ones 3) upgrade your phone’s storage for the thousands of photos/videos you’re about to add to it. P.S. Meat leather is definitely the better version of jerky and unfrosted blueberry poptarts are the way to go (even though absolutely no one ever agrees with me on that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
