The oldest Bristlecone pine lives in the White Mountains, and not the Sierra Nevada. The White montains are east of the Sierra Nevada on the border of the state of Nevada, and have a completly different climate, and growing conditions. The coast Redwood is Sequoia sempervirens. Sequoiadendron giganteum is the Sierra Nevada tree. They are both in the Cypress family.
3:31 you made a boo-boo. The coast redwoods are Sequoia not Sequoiadendron. Only the giant ones are Sequoiadendron. The Sequoia is a genus with only one species, the coast redwood.
